I would love to celebrate my daughters 10th B-Day with her by sharing her first real rock concert with her favorite band in Charlotte. She insists on hearing "45 Barrel" every time she gets in my car, and I think getting to catch you guys in concert would make for an unforgettable present!!! Keep on Rockin' !!! Hope we get the chance to see you guys on the 24th!!!

I would love to win concert tickets to Charlotte NC. My cousin is a HUGE fan of all the bands playing and her 16th birthday is coming up in September. How amazing would it be if she saw her first concert for a 16th b-day present? Thanks. Good Luck on tour.

My husband & I used to take my daughter & her friends to see Shinedown in Jacksonville before they were signed. All of us watched as Shinedown became HUGE. We tell people we saw Shinedown when they were just a bar band & look at them now!! Since then, my daughter has grown up & moved out & my husband & I have fallen on hard times. He lost his job following a massive heart attack & life as we knew has changed. Last week was our 11th anniversary & we'd planned on going to the show in celebration but life happens (haha) & we're unable to go. It would be wonderful to win tickets to see our favorite band in Jacksonville, FL. Take care guys & have a GREAT show!!!

Shinedown is absolutely my favorite band ever! I got my teenage son (and husband) into you guys, and he has spread the word to his friends and created more fans! I'm not one of the johnny-come-lately fans though; the ones that just recently found Shinedown. Several years ago I heard Fly From The Inside for the first time, and I was hooked! Even when no one I knew had even heard of you; never heard you on the radio or saw anthing online about Shinedown. I am an original fan. The music of Shinedown has spoken more to me than all other artists combined. I have smiled, cried and been angered by some of the issues the lyrics bring out for discussion and thought. This is emotional music and I've probably felt almost everything you did when writing the lyrics. You will never know what your music means to me. I have been lucky enough to have seen you guys in concert one time. My husband took me to see you in Washington DC in April for my birthday. We had to drive 4 hours in the rain and hop subways and busses to get there but it was worth every minute. Unfortunately Nickelback was the headine act so your time on stage was short. While I was in line to buy my Shinedown merch I spoke to several other people who said exactly what I felt; the only reason they were there was to see Shinedown; NOT the headliners. Now you will be in concert AS the headline act and will have lots of time on stage AND you are only 2 hours from me. I would love to win tickets to see you in VA Beach without having to finish quickly knowing there are two more artists coming after you. The only thing I would love more would be the ultimate; to be able to meet all you. I want the total Shinedown experience like I've seen in video clips of other concerts. I would gladly buy tickets but my husband has been out of work for 2 months. Please, Please let me win tickets to the Virgnia Beach Amphitheater Show and make my year!!

I would love to win Tickets to the Charlotte, NC concert. I am a huge fan of all the bands playing. The last few years have sucked for me. I have lost my dad, grandma & grandpa. My mother was diagnosed with cancer. She has been in remission for 6 months and we just found out yesterday that she has a spot of cancer on her lung that needs to be removed. On top of that my 2 year old daughter fell in some hot coals and got 2nd degree burns on her right hand back in April. SO... Winning these tickets would be nice. I would love to go out & have a great time and forget about life for a night!

I would love to win these tickets. I have been to 7 SD shows and getting ready for my 8th in Knoxville. I've been listening to these guys since the first edition of Leave A Whisper came out and they pretty much changed my life forever. I enjoy this band more than anything and take every chance I can get to support them and just go out and have a good time!! Thanks Guys!! Jeremy

I would love to win tickets to the Orlando show. Since the day a friend introduced me to Shinedown, I have listened to and loved your music. I never go more than a few days without listening to the first CD, while I love them all, the first one is just amazing. Almost every song has been with me through some stage of my life over the past few years. Recently my uncle passed away due to alcohol abuse, I listed to What A Shame while driving in my car after hearing the news. I played the song over and over again as loud as I could, because while I could not find the words to express how I felt, you and your song expressed everything I was feeling perfectly. I could not imagine going through that time without that song, it helped me believe that even though most people would not believe he earned a place in heaven, his time here was over and even he deserved something better. For that, I can only say thank you. I couldn't tell you what it would mean to me to hear that song live.

I would love to win tickets to see Shinedown and the rest of the line-up at Carnival of Madness. My wife and I have seen Shinedown almost every time that they have come to Virginia Beach/Norfolk. The first time that we saw Shinedown was at the Norva in Norfolk. This was when Shinedown was touring for Leave A Whisper. At this show, Shinedown came out and tore the place apart. It was one of the first times that I had seen a band that had only one album at the time and got the crowd so into their show for such a short set. At that show, Brent was so into the moment that he actually climbed up to the balcony of the venue from the stage and then dove into the crowd. It was an awesome experience. The next time that my wife and I saw Shinedown was a few months later at the Lunatic Luau in Virginia Beach. Granted, it was a festival event, but there were so many people that were at the main stage when Shinedown came on. They were a middle bill act, but once again, they had the crowd with them. At that show, my wife and I actually got to meet Brent. He was walking around the venue after their set. I don't think a lot of people knew who he was at that time, but my wife and I did. I went up to him, got his autograph, and helped him open up the Red Stripe that he was carrying around with him. My wife and I both told him that we loved Shinedown's music and couldn't wait to see them again. When Us and Them came out, my wife and I bought it the day it was released. We immediately loved the album and realized that Shinedown had another awesome album on their hands. Unfortunately, we weren't able to see them on that tour cycle due to some financial troubles. Shinedown then released the Sound of Madness. My wife and I got that album the day that it came out as well, and we have been listening to it ever since, never taking it out of the CD changer in our vehicle. We saw Shinedown when they came back to the Norva. We can't wait to see them at Carnival of Madness.

NCSHINEDOWNFAN: I would love to win Charlotte, NC tickets because I am a cancer survivor and I don't get to attend too many concerts due to our finances. My husband has recently been in hospital and I would love to surprise him and give him tickets to this. Our wedding anniversary was last month and we didn't get each other any gift due to our many medical bills so I would love to do this for him. Shinedown absolutely rocks!!!!!!!!!!!! Lead singer vocals amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My "Carnival of Madness" started close to two years ago when my ten year marriage failed and I found myself parenting a 4 and 6 year old virtually alone. I took up the sport of running so I could 'pound pavement' as opposed to pound fists on my head out of disbelief. Your music "Shine(d)down" upon me as I left the past behind me and finished the Chicago Marathon in 3:54:07 this past October. With the stress of my divorce and intense running schedule, I severely injured my back and have since been told I will never run again. Now suffering, emotionally, spiritually and physically--I turned to the 'Sound of Madness' album to fill my soul with hope. From "Call Me' (which makes me cry EVERY time I listen to it) to "Sound of Madness" (whose opening notes help me get the anger out!!) from "What a Shame" to "Sin with a Grin"--I connect with every word, every syllable as the light of hope fills the dark crevices of fear. To lift my spirits, I traveled all the way from NC to rock with you boys in St. Louis and Indianapolis this year and am SO excited to know you will be right in my back yard next weekend. The thought of your band in my town is a "4:03" (my new terminology when I can't sleep!!) Keep up the AWESOME work. If you ever think you are just playing notes or strumming chords---just remember that you touch lives every single day....If even just in little ol' Huntersville, NC.

Triathlete Trainer's picture

Triathlete Trainer: I have loved your music since before seeing you in concert in Spokane a few years ago and then recently with Nickelback. You have been my workout partners as I train for triathlons. I despise running. However, with your motivational and out of this world music, it makes my running much easier and I am able to persevere through the long miles I put on my feet as I run to your inspirational lyrics. Not to mention the weight training you do with me on my I pod. I was able to complete my first half marathon this past May at the age of 40 with you bursting through my earbuds. You all should be in tip top shape with as much as you travel with me through my workouts.LOL Your lyrics are understandable and you have built relationships with your fans through your amazing music. I would love to join you once again as you all put on a fantastic show in either Kennewick on August 27th or Auburn on August 28th (or you can fly us to another concert. LOL), as I understand these concerts have sold out. Thank you. Be safe as you travel to your concerts. Warmly, Michele from Spokane

I've been in Army training since the end of March and would love nothing more than to be able to celebrate the completion of that training with my girlfriend at the concert in Charlotte on the 24th. I love all of these bands, the energy and excitement they bring to their fans is unparalleled. I've followed Shinedown since I saw them open for 3 Doors Down a few years back and they continuously bring us inspiring music. Thanks for all that you do Shinedown and continue rocking our world!
