It’s Super Saturday as this year’s tournament finally concludes after a long hiatus, with three big ties to settle matters once and for all.

Ireland are in pole position, though they know they have to beat France to win the title.

Intriguingly, England perhaps have the best chance of victory, despite their fate not being in their hands. They must earn a bonus-point win over Italy and hope France beat Ireland. while Les Blues must win at the Stade de France and better England’s win over Italy.

It’s a complicated end to the most unique of tournaments, finishing almost exactly nine months after it started due to the coronavirus pandemic putting sport on pause around the globe.

We have George Flood guiding you through the action, with expert analysis from rugby correspondent Will Macpherson.

30 mins: The Scottish lineout goes awry and Wales are suddenly camped just outside the try line.

They come within a whisker of the posts and continue to pile bodies forward with not one but two penalty advantages.

28 mins: The first real chance for Wales to apply some proper pressure just shy of the half-hour mark as they get the lineout after Russell scrambles the ball into touch.

Taulupe Faletau with a great pick-up off the deck and probing chip that rolls out of play a couple of metres out.

Scotland have to win this lineout.

26 mins: Wales manage to clear their lines, with Graham then producing a lovely little dart after initially losing his footing.

Hogg looks to aim a deep kick in behind the Welsh defence, but it runs a little long and is touched down by the hosts behind the line.

26 mins: Scotland produce a big secondary shove at the delayed scrum and get the penalty, which Hogg booms into touch inside the Welsh 22.

24 mins: This time it’s Welsh hooker Ryan Elias that is penalised for a crooked throw in the swirling wind.

Not a lot of sympathy from this referee!

23 mins: Brown carries into touch as Gareth Davies looks to release the speedy Adams with a little grubber down the left flank that followed a great aerial take from Biggar.

20 mins: Excellent defending from Dan Biggar, who does just enough to disrupt some eye-catching combination play from Hogg and Chris Harris, with the former powering through a large gap after a cute little inside pass.

That could easily have led to Scotland’s first try, were it not for the efforts of the Welsh fly-half.

Biggar eventually clears for touch after Wales retain the ball at another scrum, but Scotland come back quickly once more.
