    Orlando

    Hey Shinedown fans,

I wanted to write all of you and thank you for your continued support. Last night was an absolutely amazing time in Orlando. All of the shows lately have been a blast, and all stand out for one reason or another in our minds, but Orlando was special because it was all acoustic. First off thank you for selling it out! Secondly, we were excited to see how well an acoustic show would do, and you all proved to us that we need to work on doing an acoustic tour in the future. Aside from all of the chanting for 'Simple Man', which you all should know by now that we aren't going to play, it was one of the coolest Shinedown shows I have had the pleasure of playing. Not only that but I got to pull out my 1950's gold sparkle Ludwig jazz kit for
the show. I haven't had that much fun playing drums in a long time.
Those drums were just screaming to be played. I could have sat there all night and played for all of you. Again thank you, and let us know your thoughts on doing an acoustic tour. For those of you that saw it let us know what you thought. Much love must also go out to Number One Contender for being an amazing opener, and Alan Price for playing some mean rhythm guitar for us.

    Sincerely,
    Barry
