My SHINEDOWN Family!

Hello.  Nikki is my name.

A SHINEDOWN addicit I am.

I'm sure people think I'm insane,

But I really don't give a damn!

 

SHINEDOWN is my salvation, you see,

In a life filled with drama

As a cloud of darkness looms over me,

And my Brother, Father, and Mama.

 

It seems I'm not the only one

Who has an addiction, you know.

There are many who long to see the sun

Shine through the clouds of woe.

 

There are others that have quite a fight,

and I say to them, "God Bless."

I'm a lucky person despite my plight,

So I must complain less.

 

Brent, Barry, Eric, and Zach have saved many.

Baring their souls on stage, they dare.

The music and lyrics ring true as any

Secret Therapy session. Instead we share.

 

These gentlemen are humble, loveable, and wise

Laying it all out on the line.

And just as a bonus, very easy on the eyes

From God, surely they're a sign!

 

Something in common, we fans do dish.

We laugh and cry and sing and pray;

We tell our innermost secrets. We wish

Each other well without delay.

 

I love this family; my sisters and brothers.

My heart soars and my woes have faded.

We are fans unlike others.

We shall never be jaded.
