The second part of my project is the most creative one:
I wrote a story, dedicated to the band. It’s all fictional and all the songs of AMARYLLIS are in it. There is a dedication

To Eric Bass for being the coolest bassist in this world;
To Zach Myers who all my friends call cute, for making me laugh all the time;
To Barry Kerch for being my brother’s inspiration and in that way also mine.)
This story is about Brad, father to the 4-year-old Lucan whose mother doesn’t care about her son. Brad tries to earn his money by playing music on the streets, but he can barely care for his son. One day, he goes to a park and meets a mysterious woman named Amy with who he falls in love. Each day in this park, he experiences different things, sad and happy, exciting and dangerous, and he starts to write songs about these days in the park. Suddenly he earns more and more money, but there are also difficulties, e.g. Brad’s sister who wants to take Lucan from him, his ex-wife and her new career, and Amy’s past and the secret she keeps. When he finally finds out about her real life and tries to free her from her past, both of them risk everything they have to be together…
I won’t reveal everything here, but one thing is for sure: The ending is so much different from what one expects.
I send the story to several bookstores and asked to publish it and I also ordered about 10 books via internet which haven’t arrived yet. They should spread the word a lot!

Because of the little time I had left, the story is only in german at the moment, but I'm working on the translation. The songs of course are in English though.
