My Shinedown Tatt :)

I have always been a huge Shinedown fan...and when I first heard their song "If You Only Knew" I immediately started to cry...you see this song said everything I have always wanted to say to my dearest sweet best friend who I have always secretly loved for 14 years but never had the courage to tell him...I would listen to this song over and over again...especially at night before I went to sleep...going to myself "if you only knew!"...Me and him had been out of touch for about 3 years due to him moving 3 states away and it broke my heart...well one day 2 years ago...out of the blue he called me...and said that he just had to get ahold of me...come to find out he had/has always loved me too...well when I finally went to be with him I told him that he just had to listen to this song from this band whom I just absolutely love...Shinedown and their song "If You Only Knew." About halfway through the song he all of sudden teared up and got goosebumps and told me that the reason he had to get a hold of me so urgently when he called was because that night before he called he was laying in bed asleep and was woken up out of a sound sleep with me calling to him calling his name...in a desperate plea...and he said that it shook him to his core...and when he finally realized that I wasn't really there he decided to go back to sleep but before doing so he said he rolled over and seen the alarm clock to which read the time 4:03. He had never even heard of Shinedown nor their song "If You Only Knew." For us to have shared such a bond over the years and miles...and to have something as phenomenal as this happen...it's incredible! So this song means so much to both of us! That's why I got this tattoo! Thank you Shinedown...for such wonderful music and inspiration...and for such an incredible song that has brought us together! :)
