Doppelganger?

Well, it's not a very creative photo, and it's not active support for you guys at the moment, but I thought you'd find this interesting.

My GF and I found out about you guys just a couple of days ago. She got an iTunes update and thought "when the hell did Bryce get on iTunes?" And when I watched the Bully video, I thought "Damn! When did I land this gig? And where's my fucking CHECK?!?"

You might disagree, but from what I can tell, I'm pretty much the spitting image of Brent. I'm not a pro, but I'm a pretty good singer. I'm a much better writer, though. So here's my promo idea...

Next time I'm at a karaoke bar, I'm gonna look for one of your songs. I usually bring the house down when I do Tool or Toadies, so I'm pretty sure I can hit Brent's notes. Then, I'll tell them if they thought THAT was good, they should hear the original.

Probably a more effective way to promote you guys will be with my writing. I usually write something snarky or silly in my bios when I get published, and I've just been asked to be a guest judge for an online writing contest, which also means I get MY piece published... and a new author bio. I'm thinking this one should say something about my plan to assassinate Brent, take his gig, and hope no one notices...

Meh... that's a first draft. The actual piece will be better.

So there ya go. This isn't a photo of me plugging a band which would kick serious ass even if the singer and I hadn't been separated at birth. It is, however, a promise to plug the band in a highly unusual way that will reach an audience.

That worth an iPad? I'll settle for a T-shirt. Meh... I'll settle for nothing, so long as you guys keep cranking out awesome music.
