This is my first post on the new Shinedown.com . I hope you guys are enjoying the new website and how interactive this whole little world of yours is.

 

ALSO!  Barry and I will be doing a chat this Saturday you guys can send Questions into this blog. But we will also be answering some questions at RANDOM so make em good folks. . .And we will see you then

Hey, I met you guys on the VH1 BEST CRUISE EVER! Meeting Brent, Barry, Zach and Eric was the highlight of the cruise and taking pics with you guys was the highlight of my life....especially in our bathrobes! Wanna know if you remember someone throwing the condom on the stage? You guys were playing with it and it landed in Barry's hair. lmao! Anyway, that was me! I wanted to throw flowers, but they weren't selling any on the ship! And there were plenty of condoms going around from another artist......We Had a blast! Can't wait to see you guys in NJ in Aug.! thanks for great memories!!!! Annette

Barry xx - if you had to have a play off on the drums with Neil Peart who do you think would break into a sweat first and how long do you think you could go on for (playing the drums I mean!! ;->)!!! xx... Hey Darlin's! I won't be able to watch the webcast today, but wanted to share the highlights of a dream I had about you two last night. I dream about Shinedown often, but last night, you two were the stars. ;) We were on a 22 hour flight (got that from America's Next Top Model) and Barry, you were sitting in between Patti Impens (who was pregnant. Ha!) and me. She took pics of us snoring with our mouths wide open! Real attractive! ;) Zach, you had a party going at my house with fans I've never met before. Then it turned in to a house ya'll shared with Bret Michaels. There was lots more to this dream, but I know you don't have time to read it. At the end, you guys gave me the longest, most wonderful bear hugs! Usually, that's how my Shinedown dreams end. Bittersweet! The bitter part is waking up! ;) Just want to say congratulations on all your accomplishments and that I'm so proud of you! :) Can't wait to see ya'll at the Carnival of Madness on Barry's birthday! Just wanted to thanks for all the killer music you have put ou!!!! :) You are the best band I have heard in a long time cant wait to see ya July 17 hoping to win a meet and greet so I can tell ya face to face thanks for aving me from myself you will never know what Second Chanc did for me in the worst time of my life.. I know it sounds corny but believe me I am almost 40 and never thought I would say that about a song but it is true so thank you guys so much!!!!!! You guys and Pearl Jam are probably my 2 fav bands cause of the energy at the shows, the lyrics and the fan and band interaction and appreciation. The ONLY thing that differs froma Pearl jam show and Shinedown is the setlilsts from nite to nite. Having seen PJ about 35 times and fllowing them thru their career they still maintaiin that element of suprise each and every nite. Not that it makes a whole lot of difference to me because I will still be at every Shinedown show I possibly can but my question to both of you is: DO you ever see yourselves at some point just switching up opening songs and closing songs and b-sides and rarities busted out from 1 nite to the next? Or do you prefer the more set and structured setlist type of show. You have a LOT of material to cover from I Own you, Persistance, Son of Sam, Energy, Carried Away, etc and then the less played stuff off of all 3 albums. Thanx for being one of the greatest bands keeping real rock alive and I'll see you guys in Philly and Mohegan Sun Carnival style!

Hey guys, I will be seeing Shinedown for the 9th time in August when you come to MA. You're music has been my inspiration for the past 5 years. I have traveled to 5 states to see Shinedown, always in the front row. Any way me and my girlfriend can meet you guys?? we are HUGE fans! Thanks for everything!
