UPDATE ON the BILLINGS 8/25 Carnival of Madness date - Cancellation

Dear fans in the Billings, MT area - We are very sorry to report that due to the tornado last month and the Rimrock Auto Arena being damaged the Carnival of Madness date on 8/25 has been cancelled. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who has been affected due to this natural disaster - we're all hoping for a speedy recovery to the area. Refunds will be given at the point of purchase!

Recently saw Shindown in Fargo ND with Nickelback, we were making the trip out to Billings MT for another awesome concert! It is sad the concert was canceled but that is how it does sometimes I guess. Hope you guys come close to ND again sometime soon! Love your Music and keep rockin it out!

Yeah they offered to have the show outside on the horse track here and they obviously said no cause word is out that this show is canceled for good. But you're not coming all the way from the UK for nothing. Go out to Yellowstone and enjoy a good day! I'm going to Casper too but I'm pissed they didn't work something out for Billings. That's complete shit.

I asked Brent about this on twitter a couple days ago and what happened to finding a new venue for the show, he told me "We are still working on it, we are looking at near by cities"...soo hopefully that plan is still in effect and it wasnt just cancelled all together. This was the only show i had a chance of seeing since the tour isnt coming to North or South Dakota, and its no secret that its their biggest tour by far...so for me to miss it is just one major bummer, hopefully montana pulls through otherwise i might not ever get over missing it.

Is that true that there was an alternative venue? That's so shit! My partner and I are visiting Billings as part of our trip to the USA just to see the Carnival of Madness tour from the UK. We originally booked tickets for Casper cos we had wanted VIP but they werent doin any for Billings and Casper at the time of booking. My Shinedown nation memebership wasnt working so we just went for it, only to find out Billings now had VIP, so we booked that, changed our plans, booked all our flights which are non refundable, only for it to be cancelled. Now we have two sets of useless bloody tickets and a trip to Billings for nothing. So, the idea that an alternative was offered and not taken is slightly irksome to say the least.

Hey there Shinedown; Please consider adding an additional Montana date to your Carnival of Madness. For those of us travelling from Saskatchewan or Alberta, we need another location to come down and see you on this fabulous tour!! Or the best scenario would be if you set some Canadian dates...you must admit you were well loved here in Saskatchewan. You should have headlined in Saskatoon! I see you keep adding dates to the tour, I hope you will travel up here so we can attend your Carnival of Madness tour!! Thanks and take good care...

It would be cool if you guys pick a Shinedown nation member from Billings & provided transportation, tickets & Meet N Greet passes so they could see a show. Wishing Billings a speedy recovery.
