    Hey guys!

    First of all we would like to thank all of you for the love that you have been showing us lately. The audiences that we have been playing for this year have been absolutely overwhelming! It has truly been an honor to see all of your faces out there in the crowd. I have to say, we are so damn excited to see what the rest of the year is going to be like! We will be hitting the entire US again and will be making at least one more return trip to the UK and Europe. So, keep an eye on our concerts page to see when we will be near you!

    Secondly, we need your help. Our video for Second Chance is currently in the running to be on the VH-1 Top 20 Countdown! It would be great if all of you could do us a huge favor while you are myspacing and checking your e-mails, and head over to VH-1.com and vote for Shinedown! Your support has pushed the song up the Top 40 and Rock charts. Now you all could be responsible for getting us in the Top 20 on VH-1! Thanks so much everyone. Every song on this album by Shinedown is catchy and funky, and the band keeps getting better. Strong messages on songs like "Dysfunctional You," "A Symptom of Being Human," and "Hope" need to elicit some positive feelings in the listener. Every song has a memorable sound that begs for repeated listening. It's challenging to identify any influences, but who cares? Shinedown is an influence in and of itself. This album is incredibly satisfying to listen to and will undoubtedly be played repeatedly for a while.
