    Shinedown will be joining Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson in taking over the airwaves during Bruce’s rock show on BBC6 Music this Friday, January 30th. The guys will be playing the music of bands they love as well as two of their own songs, “Sound of Madness” and “Second Chance”, and talking about their history. Be sure to tune in HERE this Friday between 9pm and Midnight on BBC6 Music.

    Riding high on the success of The Sound Of Madness and a blistering lead single, “Second Chance”, garnering a #1 ranking at rock radio, Shinedown have officially begun their 2009 World Tour. >From now, through late March, Shinedown will hit eight European countries before coming back to North America.     We’ve got two more presales for the upcoming Shinedown tour and Shinedown Nation is your hookup for exclusive presale tickets! This presale will begin on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 3pm Local Venue Time through the fan club site. Tickets are very limited and available only to members of Shinedown Nation on a first come, first served basis. 

    Just like the first round of presale tickets, fan club members who purchase through the presale will also be eligible for a Meet & Greet with the band.  The first TEN tickets purchased per show will get a Meet & Greet with Shinedown.

    We are psyched to be able to announce fan club exclusive presales for the upcoming Shinedown shows noted below.  As we are sure you already know, Shinedown will be hitting the road in February/March with a bunch of their friends.

    Shinedown Nation is your presale ticket hookup!  Presale will begin on Monday, January 12, 2009 at 3pm Local Venue Time through the fan club site. Tickets are very limited and available only to members of Shinedown Nation on a first come, first served basis. 

    Fan club members who purchase through the presale will also be eligible for a Meet & Greet with the band.

    In this week's Billboard.biz summary of record sales and radio charts, they
    had this to say about Shinedown's "Second Chance":

    "Shinedown's "Second Chance" rises to No. 1 on both the Rock and Active Rock
    radio airplay charts this week in Billboard's sister publication Radio &
    Records, and continues to reign atop Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart. It's
    the first time a song has dominated all three tallies since Disturbed's
    "Inside the Fire" on Aug. 16, 2008."
