The first time I ever managed to see y'all in live was in Nashville this year at Buzzfest. The most amazing thing I have done so far, so much fun. Look forward to the next chapter from y'all, and will definitely see y'all come back to Tennessee. :)

I am a big fan of the band and have been to several concerts. i brought back stages passes to the last one i attended in pikeville which was awsome even though most of the fans were lazy i never sat down.i did not make it to the meet and greet though because my boy friend had to work late and ended up making me miss it. i was not happy. but i also purchased the fan pack with my tickets but i never did get the welcome pack either so. i just missed out on everything except for an awsome concert. u are a great prform the carnival of maddness tour is outrageous. keep rockin. donna. sultry_2323@yahoo.com

Hi Brent, I took my twin 11 year old boys to see you in Mansfield, MA a few months ago and we went crazy. You're show was amazing and we have all of your cd's now and sing them together in my car. We absolutely love your music and lyrics. We can't wait till you come to MA again. Thanks for rocking our world.

Hey Brent, I heard on Johnny Dare you are considering buying a house in Kansas City? I am a real estate agent in KC, been a fan for a while and have seen you guys live a few times. Always Kick Ass! Well if you are truly thinking about buying a home in KC, I would be honored to work for you. Thanks for the music Kali Sallman

I saw you guys in Nashville, TN at Buzzfest and can I just say that you guys were my first concert back from a 5 year break and I am soooo incredibly glad that I picked you guys as my welcome back! Just recently became a fan and once I bought "The Sound of Madness" albumn I immediately went and bought ALL of your albumns. Haven't done that since the 90's and the last band I did that for was Guns N Roses lol! Anyway, loved loved loved the show you guys are well worth the 100 bucks my husband and I spent to see you guys and we would do it again and again. Can't wait for you guys to return to Nashville. Thank you soooo much for being so appreciative of your fans we love that about ya'll. I can't get over just how thankful and humble ALL of you guys were that night at the show and telling us so many times just how appreciative and how mind blowing it was that we chose to come and spend our night with you guys. You are welcome you are welcome you are welcome! Thanks for being such great live performers and for your songs, my whole family loves you, me, my husband, my 2 year old son and my 5 year old daughter especially loves your music. Keep it up guys!!!

Couple of weeks ago I had to give up my tickets to the show in Lafayette, Louisiana. Each and every time I can attend a show I do. I first became a fan in 2004 at Voodoo Fest in New Olreans, Ever since then I have been hooked! I was bummed that I had to give my GOOD tickets away but I decided to deploy to Afgan for work. HOpe to see you guys soon!!!! Keep it going you guys are amazing!!!!

Brent...several of your fans are signing up for Shinedown Nation and cannot access anything (me included!) Not getting any kind of response for technical support. WTF?

Carnival was not just the event of the year, it was the event of my life! I made it to 3 stops, each time bringing along the people in my life who mean the most so that they could share in the unforgettable experience! Actually meeting you guys in Simpsonville, with my daughter who was celebrating her 14th birthday, was a memory that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I just cannot express what it meant to both me and her - you guys were so thoughtful, genuinely appreciative of us, and very down-to-earth. Plus you made her the Queen of Rock to all her friends when they started their little "So what did you do over the Summer?" stories...no one could quite top her when she threw out her "I met Shinedown and they wished me a Happy Birthday" card!! :) Thank you again for this tour, for your love for us, and for the music that continues to touch me everytime I hear it! XOXOXO Cynthia

I met you guys when you came to Cleveland. I about fell over when Barry stood up and shook my hand. I'm not star-struck, it was just vastly different from the usual. Music is my life and my business. I've met a lotta rock stars in my time but none of them have ever been as real and personable as you guys - most of them just give fans a polite "are we done yet" brush off like it's such a chore to talk to us. I really appreciate the things you say on stage and off. You said you wanted "Sound of Madness" to be what everyone would remember as the record that needed to be written...well, YOU DID IT, and now I'm speaking as a life-long musician, not just a fan (who's friends call her "the music Nazi" lol). I looked around the crowd and I didn't see one particular demographic. I even commented to my sister to look around at all the different kinds of people who were there, even parents with their kids. You don't transcend generation boundaries and connect with all those different classes of people all at the same time like that unless you've got something REALLY special...it's like when the home team finally makes it to the World Series. ;) I know for me, I see a lot of myself in your songs - some of them make me cry...and some of them kick me in the...well, you know how the song goes. }:}~ I remember when I first started listening to you, I had to look you up to see if you were an old boyfriend or somebody from my past who went and got famous. LOL I was like, "Hey!...that sounds like when...." Long story short: "the music Nazi" whole-heartedly approves. XD BTW, if y'all ever wanna do something with a fiddle that rocks, you just let me know. Just cuz Tantric did it first don't mean we can't do it better. ;) See you in Dayton in September!!! =D XXXOOOXXX, ~Jessica~

Dear Shinedown, I don't know if you ever read your messages, since you get so many. But I had to send you my story. Six years ago I went through a nasty split with my x-wife. I got custody of our 2 boys. I have never been on my own. I went straight from mom and dads to in with my wife. Not only did I have to learn how to do it and pay bills and work and all that. Plus I had two boy's that was looking at me to make the right choices. So the boys and I did stuff we could relate to. Sports was a big thing. But music was it. I took them to concerts and we all loved music. Both of my boys love rock music. You are by far there favorite band. Over the years we have bought all of there friends cd's and concerts tickets. But the bond they share as brothers when they go to see you is amazing. My oldest son has decided to go to the Navy and he leaves out in 6 weeks. They are going to the Missouri State Fair to see you one last time together. Overall they have been to 13 shows all across Missouri. They have had the pleasure of meeting you guys and your family's over the last 6 years. I just wanted to say from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!!! It will be memories they share for the rest of there lives. Plus it made our lives so much better. So when you guys are doing your thing this Friday at the state fair. Just know there are two brothers out there loving it!! Sincerely, Chad Galindo

I was also at CMAC Friday, Aug 6, 2010 and was lucky enough to attend the meet and greet. When the band asked about the shirts we were wearing in honor of a fallen paramedic hero it brought tears to my eyes. Thank you not only for putting on an amazing show but caring that much about your fans. We will never forget your comments that night and look forward to seeing your show again soon!

I was at the CMAC show on friday. Fucking Amazing. That was one of the best shows that I have ever been to. It was also the loudest show to come to CMAC. A friend of mine lives up the road a little bit from CMAC. He said that it was the loudest show he has ever heard. Great job! Enjoy the rest of the tour, and please come back soon. Peace
