yeah, i think it will be a pretty great show. how could it not be??? i think i've made a pretty good list...hopefully my plan will work out.

Well, im still trying to come up w/ a list of stuff i could do in order to get those tickets. here's what i have so far...: i could help pay for about half the tix, they could be my x-mas gift, give up a trip to chicago, i could do extra chores, i wouldn't redo my room, maybe go to guitar lessons every other week... any other suggestions? i really want to ask them sometime this week. if the $177 plan fails i could always shoot for the $97 tix.
Hey Lissa, we did the $177 package. My mom got if for my sister and I for Christmas. So yeah, you never get too old to hit your parents up for stuff like that! LOL!!! We are in row C. I know you posted this a day ago...did you decide what you are going to do yet?
i checked again just now, and for $177 i could be up in row C, a signed poster and stuff, AND i could meet shinedwon! does that sound like a really good deal? sorry for commenting so much...im just really excited! now i just need to make up a deal i can strike with my parents.... = )
i just checked this morning for seats...it would be $97 per ticket to be up in row D. hmmm....maybe that could be my Christmas present??? im going to have to convince my mom somehow....ever scince that concert she loves shinedown now. shes been stealing my CD everyday to listen to on the way to work now. = P

haha i drank a mountain dew on the way home....my head was still buzzing from what had just happened. that concert was probably the best night i have ever had in my entire life! i really do hope i get to go to this show...it would be so cool to see what they do, playing all of their songs acuostically. it sounds like its going to be a real laid back show and all.
I didn't think it was bed, especially since the fees are included. I just think it's going to be such a cool, different kind of show. The drive there wouldn't be bad...it's the drive home. Thank God I didn't drive the last one. I was asleep most of the way home! LOL!!!
hmmmm....i guess $53 isnt too bad....i take it those are the ones right up front? Yeah it would be a long drive...about three hours for me. but ive been in a vehicle for much longer than that so that would be nothing! i think the three hours would give you a lot of time to get excited about the show.
i can't beleive it will be a week tomarrow that we saw shinedown...the time went by so fast!!!

Good to meet you. Glad you dropped me a line. I get the triplet comment a lot. Of course a lot of people think I'm too young to have kids in the first place, when in reality, I'm plenty old enough. LOL!!! My kids are pretty darn cool though! One of my daughters even listed "The Sound of Madness" as one of her favorite songs on her kindergarten homework! LOL!!! I was so proud!!!
Lissa---the DTE show was really what sold me on Shinedown. The February show was great, but the Carnival of Madness tour was really something special. I'm am so psyched for the acoustic show. We are doing the M&G too. Merry Christmas to me! LOL!!! The general tickets weren't that much money really. The most expensive ones were $53.00 and that included all the surcharges. It is a long drive though. I know that from going out your way last time.
I wish i could have gone to that one at DTE...i was at a horse show though. it was also on my birthday... but in a way im kind of glad i didnt go to that one because then i would have never been able to go to allegan and have an amazing time!
thats so cool that in november you will have seen them four times in one year! i'm just hoping like crazy that i will be able to go to the one in saginaw...maybe if tickets arent too expensive. the drive would be kind of long, but it would be worth it! the show sounds like its going to be amazing (like ususal). front row would be sweet but the tickets are probably super expensive! = /

It sounds like you and Lissa had a very interesting experience at the concert. Hillbilly puking girl. wonder if she even knows she was there.. lol

I thought about what they must be thinking driving through to the fair grounds in their tour bus. But on the other hand...they go so many different places, I'm sure it's not the first time they've been in the middle of no where. That was the first time I've been that close as well. My sister and I saw them in February at the Detroit show, then in August at DTE, both times we were pretty far away. Then in Allegan, and yeah, Saginaw in November. Our hubbies are getting a little annoyed to say the least...oh well!!! LOL!!! There will come a time in the near future when they will be going into the studio, so I might as well see them while I can.
Yeah it was weird. When i got to the fair i felt kind of bad for them because the fair was in the middle of nowhere! but i guess that didnt matter because the concert was still great! i'm still kind of on the high too. when i look @ all the pictures i took i still can't believe i was that close to them! i seen them for the first time last summer but i was way far away from the stage. it still hasnt really hit me though that i caught zach's towel...it all happened so fast. i'm from the west side of MI...maybe like a half hour north of Holland. so i take it your going to the show in saginaw? i want to go to that one sooo bad now!
Yeah, it was kind of weird venue for them to play, I have to admit. I was surprised to see them at a county fair. Luckily for them, she did get her puking out of her system before Shinedown. I'm still on my Shinedown high from last week. Just bought my tix for the acoustic show yesterday. Can't wait for that one!!! Are you from the west side of MI? I'm from the Detroit area.
Ugh...i thought i got a whiff of a skunk or something during the concert. that and the smell of the barns up on the hill. poor shinedown. i would feel so bad if i was up on stage performing and saw someone puking, but what can you do? i was on my way home today and i saw some guy walking down the street with a shinedown jacket on. i had to do a double take. but anywas that made me really happy.
Yup, quite the combo of aroma's that night! Luckily we were on a bunch of hay and she was puking over the railing, So I didn't really have to see it. Ahhh...goodtimes! LOL!!! And yes, I did hear the guy yell something about taking a shirt off...Men! Heehee...
smoke and puke...ugh thats disgusting! and to think that GA section was mudd. i don't even want to know what that girl was standing in! if that was me, that probably would have ruined the concert, but it sounds like you had a good time anyways! did you hear that guy yell "take off your top" to the woman who was announcing sore eyes? i laughed so hard when i heard that!
It was a great spot! And I did almost puke. I was begging the guy behind me to smoke more so that I wouldn't have to smell it. (I'm not a smoker...so that was a huge step for me!) The security guy did come over though and tell her that if she puked one more time he would have to have her leave. She was fine by that point, thank God!

We got some guitar picks too. I actually snagged one when Zack was up with Sore Eyes, then I got another one after the show that I gave to my sister and my friend caught one too. It was our lucky night...and I have to admit, that does not happen very often! LOL!!!

Yeah, i would do it again too, even if id does mean ruining another pair of shoes! I was about 2nd or third row almost center to the stage. I was standing to the right of that group of tall guys. They were so obnoxious. The best thing was that I caught Zach's towel...that just made my whole life right there haha.
Yeah, it was a great show! I was so excited to be in the 2nd row! The mud sucked as well as the drunk chick in front of me that kept puking! I would do it again in a second though! Where were you at?
