Good to hear from you Brian, Hope all is cool with you? Yes...We had a very nice Christmas & New Year, but hectic as you guessed,It always is though! Sounds like you & your Son had an awesome New Year Celebration, a mega-blast!! Today is the release of the new single"Bully"& I am really diggin it but many are calling it too mainstream, the more I listen to it the more it grows on me but I like even more another new song coming up on new C.D. called"Underground"of which I have managed to hear a few little snippets of~The C.D. will be called"Amaryllis"release date March 27th. The other song you are refering to is "not strong enough"feat:Brent Smith singing for APOCALYPTICA on their C.D.7th.symphony on which they have a few guest singers~you see they are amazing Rockin Cello Players,3 of them & a drummer whom if you take some time to check out will blow your friggin mind & since they do not have a permanent singer they have many guest singers (Gavin Rossdale of Bush,Adam Gontier of 3 days Grace,Cory Taylor of Slipknot,etc...)Very Cool S#IT!!! Now be careful about "not Strong Enough"because there are 2 versions~1 with Brent & 1 with something Rob (can't remember his name right now) but of course he is not even in the ballpark with Brents version(something about copyrights here in U.S.) APO does a lot of covers of metalica (while headbanging their A$$es off) & a lot of their own stuff!! I'm proud to say that I am now a HUGE fan of theirs, they are actually from Finland & the funniest & coolest guy's ever! If you have not seen these guys on youtube then you should scope them out, their earlier stuff they had a few other Cello players who are no longer playing with the core band or a drummer (who is freaking amazing for sure)!! look for "I don't Care,In the End & I'm not Jesus (newer stuff) just for a taste or for all I know you allready know this Band but hey,to know them is to love them so take care & have a Rockin New Year~~Robin~~
Hey Brian, just dropping in to wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and a Rockin 2012!! Looking forward to the new single around Jan 3rd. and the new C.D. coming soon as I am sure you are too! Look's like it's gonna be a Shinedown kinda year! All my best,Robin
Thanks Brian for congrat's, Yeah it's NaNa now as Grandma is said in Spanish but I think I prefer "Box of Fluffy Ducks" has a certain ring to it and makes me Giggle!! Really cool that your oldest Son's name is also Logan (so is Wolverine's) Yeah I had little dude listening to S.D. before he was even out and I put in a vote on his behalf for S.D.for People's Choice Award's Band of the year & Diamond eye's as Song of the year (Discussion topic"S.D.for Band of the year" by Stacey) In case you have not voted yet,she has direct link to vote but we only have until this Friday Oct.28th and you have to click on"Other" to print in S.D. yourself & same for song of year of which we believe only Diamond eyes applies as Stacey did the checking somehow.Do not know if it is Friday morning or midnight as deadline to vote but you will see if you go to that discussion topic that I voted on Logan's behalf (no limit on # of votes) A new Shinedown fan has entered the world & I intend to make him one for life!!! Pretty much Rock & Roll all together! Hope all that workin isn't keepin you away from Rockin Out too much?? Thanx again Bri & stay Cool, enjoy that Bike of yours & stay out of trouble!! ~~Robin~~
Hey Bri~~ Hope your doin great and gettin your Shinedown on!! How is New Zealand?? Workin alot or hopfully you are getting some snowboarding in!! I am off to the Hospital for birth of first Grandson! Maybe when he grows up a bit he will want to snowboard? How young do most of you guy's start? Stay Cool Brian!~~Robin~~
Hi Brian, Great to hear from you again,I was begining to think you might have fallen off the face of the earth!! Thank's for asking about my family,we all seem to be hanging in there, hope you and your family are doing well also.I know that lack of Shinedown can cause serious side affects,so I am glad you are back where you can charge your I-pod or got a new charger or whatever it is you need to get your S.D. fix, even though you did hear some S.D. on the radio,I'm sure it was not near enough!! Yeah the winters here are so nice, no snow unless we want to take a short ride up north. It is a bit strange to see people walking around in short's but it just does not get that cold, maybe a sweatshirt on some day's! We get a ton of snowbird's we call them (elderly trying to escape the cold from their home states) Awesome that you all have Rugby World Cup there, hope you have fun watching that. Who are you rooting for? Well welcome back and have fun Rockin out(full blast) my S.D.friend!! *Robin*
Does anyone know how long it would take the sign up pack to get to new zealand ? i have ordered stuff off ebay and thats arrived , waiting for Shindown gear :(
Hi Brian, cool pic,is that a snowboard or something else? Can't tell but the snow looks soooo... cold and refreshing. can't wait for summer to end here! It is just a few hours drive up north to Flagstaff where we get snow in winter. this small mountain town is just half hour from Grand Canyon, which is impossible to tell people about, It must be seen with own eyes to believe!! Truly something to behold if you are ever in U.S. Hope all is well fellow Shinedown fan, Robin
Well hey there Brian, good to hear from you too! Thanks for wishing me a great day, I can always use good wishes and back at ya. I agree on sound of madness live, very awesome! Don't really know how to tell who is on at any given time, other than hours or days ago listed below peoples comments, what we have here is a case of the blind leading the blind, but that's o.k.cause we don't need to see to rock out! Just a couple more S.D. songs for me tonight, its 1:30 a.m. here, gonna go crash! Take care, Robin
Hey Brian, thanks for responding, its a wasteland in here sometimes! I read a comment you posted somewhere saying one of the things you loved about shinedown is their variety of tunes from heavy metal to mellow rock and lots in between!! This is also what I love about them.Hope you had an awesome time in beautiful but cold sounding Christ-Church and had plenty of good tunes along hmm-hmm S.D. of course! Take care on that bike of yours!! Robin:]
