yeah i just saw that. it says it was due to sickness. i would figure at least the band without the sick member would play. unless people from both bands have it. i hope they reschedual a new date (besides summerfest) so i can see them.

Auguestfest is going to be August 8th it is already booked with the Lake county fair grounds.

Like you said it is about getting some bands together which i am sure they will get no problem.
Wish Shinedown would be there but when i talked to Zach last time he said he doubts it and if they did it would not be to headline?

I called JP at 95.1 a couple weeks ago...so far they are still looking for bands to play. EVERYONE they want is on a tour this summer.

I went to Wing Ding with my husband and 10 of our friends. The set up getting in and out at the airport was horrible - agreed.
But if any of you went last year you will remember how many arrests and fights there were.
The way they had the under 21's seperated this year, I feel really really made this event better once you got in and settled. My only complaint after we were all in was the location of the way far away bathrooms.
The 12 of us had a really kick ass time regardless of all the BS gettin in and the lines. Saw some pretty entertaining clothing people were wearing my fav being ass girl and girl in the neon green spandex pants :roll:
Shinedown, of course was our highlight and the reason why we stayed all the way til the end. We knew we weren't going anywhere anyway so I enjoyed every last minute of them.
My husband and I have agreed thT Brent is in the top 5 vocialists we have ever heard. He sang his ass off for us this night I mean he always does, but we really really got something special in Rockford from them on Sunday the best I have ever heard to date!! Can't wait for the presale for the 8/27 show in IL - will be standing by for 3pm to buy my VIP tix -
Enjoy the music people...it takes a lot for these guys to get up there and play for so many random personality types every night like they do!!!!!

That was pretty lame only 1 line for women to go through . I've never been checked like that going into any show . Hell even going on a plane for that matter!! Have you heard if 95 is doing Augustfest again this year ?

Yeah i wish we got in early it was nuts..
We were there by 1:30 and did not get in till after 4:00 after 10 years left the stage.

They said because it was on airport grounds they had to treat it like airport security which would be fine if they allowed more then 2 lines for guys to get in an one line for women?
Why not open more gates..

To bad because i liked going but i think it got to big for a small radio station to run anymore.

I didn't have a problem getting in , it was getting out that was a living hell . We left during The Crow and the Butterfly thinking we would make it out of there before all of the drunks . No instead we were stuck in the car until 12:30 before we even started moving . I could've watched the entire show !!!! You would think with all of the cops they had there it would of been easy to get out ! Do you know why they had so many cops ?? They wouldn't even let me bring in a UN-OPENED bottle of Aleve !!! What did they think I was going to do with it ?? I could go on and on about this but who wants to hear me bitch !!
