What's wrong Babygirl??

EWWWW! Sorry! Sound's like what we all had a couple weeks ago!!

The guitarist was funny...there were these 13 yr old girls screaming at him the whole time and he was eatin' it up! Ask Scott!! It was driving us nuts! Plizano too!!! He had gorgeous hair though!

He does look young. their lead singer was gross in Madison, very sweaty and flinging it around and all...now when Eric does that...it's like an aphrodisiac for me!!! God!!!

He was kinda scary how he kept winding the mic cord around and around his arm...like he wanted to strangle someone!!!

Great, now you're spitting too.

Ewwww.

I feel for you, woman, as I am harldy coming off that cough/sneeze/ yuk combo myself...

It wasn't fun this year. Took forever to get rid of the major symptoms. I still have a runny nose, 20 days later. I sure hope this isn't it for you.

At least she doesn't puke when talking to me!! :x

True. but, aside form the fact that was privileged information before, there's something to be said about how alleviating this whole "getting rid of fluids" is, no matter how =)

If it comes out you get better quicker, true?

I don't want to get into a phlegm convo at the moment. Where is perri when you need her!!!LOLOOOL~

You masher!!!
haha.

its really sad i was hugged more times by these people than i ever have been by my mom and dad.

we're so not affectionate people. the hugging was strange. but nice.
Funny how the human touch goes a long, long way to welding new friendship instantly. Where the unequivoval inherent parental love is taken somewhat for granted, once you're giving in into breaking the physical boundary with all inhibitions down, ther eis nno limmit to the magic, the powerful and meaningful bonds created then.
i have never won a bet in my life. so no.
And that would explain why you carry wads of money to ongoing Black Jack games too, yes?

Karen, I understand the rethoric behind the calculated exit of your reply, but, should you elect to jump to the metaphorical conclusions pretty much everyone around here got to long ago, we could say that you gambled you could meet the band and talk to them, that you gambled to show up at M&G's, that you gambled by entering a contest for a go on your third show, and that you also gambled by showing up to the casino.

At every turn of this story, no matter how you want to twist this, you won.

How about you late fate decide if, for your own sake, you cast dice that rolled for you?

I know we all wish it.

Sound's like a winner to me! :D

hahaha!! He is something isn't he?

Just wait til we're together inperson!!! Gotta Talk laterHon! MUAH!!!

Well...they are probably already sayin' that about me!!! I am omnipresent , remember?? LOL!!

Yup, Sorry, K.

I don't know how else to be, frankly. Those two tonnes of brick? Chances are I'm half of'em.

It wasn't meant to be mean in any way.
it's merely the second time today i have been speechless.
a rare feat, i might add. i talk like i talked to you on the phone. non-stop.
Just as sheer curiosity here.

I can't boast about being the one who left you speechless twice now, can I?

/flex?

this is great...my favorite 3 people!!!HaHAh!! :P

You have to to love others, true?

As far as my multiples...THere's the Volcano, Mother Hen, Sex Fiend, Love Spreader,,,can you think of any I've left out??!! LOL

(Did I just say "multiples?") See????

Read my first sentence... YOu have to (love yourself) to love others.

I am in total agreement with you Merk! You know what you're talking about!

Why is it so effing easy to degenerate around here? I really am not the perverted weirdo that seem's to rear it's ugly head in these boards!!! You all bring out the beast in me!!!

Well said my friend, again... I am in total agreement (boy, do I sound like an A$$ Kiss or what??)

You are SOOOO asking the wrong girl! I will take your word for it though.

who were the three in the begining??
You gotta love and appreciate yourself, only then you can love and appreciate others with all their wrongs ang rights.

The people you are talking about they don't really love, they only pretend to love to survive. Look at their friends they're ususally people who are feeding on them.
These people only have the need to please so others appreciate them.
It's difficult to explain it for me in English.

If you love yourself it sort of rubs off on others and they will love you too, wich makes it easier to love them.
People who love themselves have real friends, who don't use them, cause they know they can't.
Very well put Siouxi, and your English is beautiful! Obviously, this is a very complex topic; one with MANY answers. I believe that the two (loving onesself and receiving love) can happen simultaneously and often do. Love is optimally, a 2 way street both giving and taking. I know what you mean abuot the "feeders" though. They are the ones that make the "givers" feel too vulnerable to do what is their first nature-to give love. Thanks for the lively discussion everybody...well done! :)

Well, I trust this is a question of perspective.

Anyway, I don't log on to be the Agony Aunt (Uncle) of SDN. I don't pretend to have all the answers, heck, I'm half the problem most of the times, as we all are.

I just tend to see life through absolute pragmatism and little or no empathy, so sometimes the solutions appear as ultimate truisms, yeilding darker perceptions to a more complex and multiple-faceted problem.

Nobody's perfect. Not even I, if that's even possible.... *cough*
totally disagree.

if i was to forget myself for the sake of others, i would not be able to function. first and foremost i have to take care of me, thus love me. if i couldn't function what good would my love to the others be?
Well, you can disagree all you want, but I know a fair amount of people that don't put themselves first in that aspect of their lives, and frankly, I know for a fact they don't love themselves.

One isn't inclusive of the other.

You can put a mask and carry on, pretending to be the light of your own world while entertaining the narcissic concept that it is self-appreciation, however, dig somewhat deeper and you'll discover that it is, in fact, a mask, and that the person underneath tries to reach out and love at all costs, very much like someone in the middle of an ocean reaching and grabbing the floating life vest with the desperation of a dying man.

as I said, one isn't inclusive... at all in fact.

WORD!

ok... First off:

I have to disagree with you: You don't have to love yourself first before loving other people. I think other people have to love you before you love back. It's the reason why it's so hard and precious at the same time. How can a jar fill someone's glass if someone's not filled the jar first?

Loving someone is, by VERY definition, that of a sacrife; your forget yourself in order to place someone else uope your altar of life. Said differently, it's all about "sacrifice". Sacrem-Face (Sacred, Make- make sacred).

Or, plainly said, nothing worth a damn in this world comes wihtout pain or difficult choices.

Secondly, you're almost coaxing me into a cruise I wasn't willing to make. but, in light of the ass-kissing conflict, if you actually need a neutral, third-party to do it in the privacy of your staterooms...

We will mos def be NOTORIOUS!!!!!

I'm not that bad!!!!!

You are gonna be locked up in a cabin on a ship with me...you do NOT want to go there!!! JK!!

You are SOOOO asking the wrong girl! I will take your word for it though.
