Someone please give us some info about this Shinedown Share contest. We have been promoting the band through this contest for months now and have not heard anything. It was to stop on 12/31/2010 but is still going and no new missions have been added and the winners have not been announced. Please Please Help!
Can you please tell me when this Shinedown share contest is set to end? The rules say a few months.... that was in Aug 2010. It's going on 8 months now , way too long for a contest. Plus I was told the guy running the contest doesn't even work for Atlantic anymore and he says he thought the contest ended.....we all are still promoting, there has been no new missions for months.......

Many of us have been promoting Shinedown in the Shinedown Share contest since last August. A few have repeatedly asked as to when this contest will end. Is it true that the CONTEST HAS ENDED AND THAT PRIZES HAVE NOT (ARE NOT???) BEING AWARDED? I hope not, because this would be really low for Atlantic Records to do this to us. Please tell us it isn't so and also tell us when the contest will end. Thanks!

I appreciate you looking into it. This won't affect my love of the band and its music, but if this is happening to some other person just discovering the band it might cause some issues.
Recently Shinedown.com had a contest called Shinedown Share. The contest was to end 12/31/2010 but is still going with no info on winner or new missions. I have sent several messages and emailst o Shinedown.com and Atlantic Records, I finally received a message from Dan stating he no longer worked for Atlantic Records and thought that the contest was over. Could someone please help with some info. It has been a long six months promoting the band!

I ordered a new member packet on September 13th and was told in November that it had not arrived because it was on back order. I have contacted the shipping department SEVERAL times since then and at the end of January/beginning of February I sent out an email asking why it had not arrived. I was told that it would be here "within the week." It is clearly past the end of that week. Shinedown is my favorite band of all time (sorry Finger Eleven) and I do not place any hard feelings toward the band, but the shipping department needs to get their crap together. I am LIVID! Please tell them to either send me the dang package I paid almost $40 for or send me my $$$$ back! It should NOT take nearly six months. Thank you for your time.
@Ghyper247 - Have you tried uploading the video on the upload page? How big is it? There's a 100mb file size limitation but we also accept youtube links on the upload page if it's posted on youtube.

I just purchased the Sounds of Madness tonight about an 1hr ago that said it was on sale for $14.00 but when I checked out it charged me $16.99 + shipping. Then I get to download a mp3 file and now it's nowhere to be found. First why did they charge me the 2.99 extra and how do I get that mp3 file so I can save it? anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. TY, Tim

I wanted to tell Brent that I knew there was something special about him when I saw you in concert in Chattanooga. You are a Tennessee boy! I also live near Chattanooga and I am also a Capricorn!! I just celebrated my 50th birthday but I will never be too old to rock old to some good tunes and great songs from Shinedown! I look forward to seeing you again in concert agao soon! My favorite song is Second Chance because we all need a second chance and it does often lead to goodbye but where one door closes another opens!!!
I was hoping to send a private email, but I guess this will do. I wanted to express my gratitude for your song Diamond Eyes. I have been going through treatment for breast cancer at a younger than normal age (Im 40 now but was diagnosed when I was 39) and Diamond Eyes helps me to keep fighting. Im a strong person by nature, but it seems that just when I feel that I cant take much more, your song comes on the radio, and it helps me to dig just a little deeper to find the extra strength needed. As an artist myself, I know how great it makes me feel when I know that my work helps others, and wanted to thank you. Not only does this song kick it, the meaning is incredible too. Thanks, and keep up the good work!!!
Shinedown hows it going? I just wanted to tell you how amazing you guys are. Ive seen you guys twice both in Michigan and both shows blew me away at how much talent you have. Also i want to thank you for my first experice seeing Shinedown when i got to meet you guys back stage. Ill never forget that night and i wanted to thank you for giving my brother a free autographed cd along with mine to say thank you because he could not make it to that show because of the fact he is a Marine. Little things like that go a long way and ill always buy your new stuff you put in the store to support you. I can't wait to buy your new dvd/cd pack and once again thank you! - Cody Corado

I love the website & I would love to know your upcoming concerts. I got u see u all perform once in April 2010 in Asheville, NC @ the Civic Center. I loved the concert, you guys rocked it. I was supposed to get to meet u after the concert, there was a meet & greet. Unfortuanatley I went outside to smoke & Asheville PD said no re-entry! I was crushed. Hopefully I can catch another concert near here. Brent u have an amazing voice & u can feel the passion in ur music. I love all the songs and they all have their own meaning. But, "Save Me" really touched me & personally meant alot to me, also love "What a Shame" and "Call Me". Cant wait to see more of u all and I defiantely cant wait to see another concert!!!!!

Hey guys......been listening to "Diamond Eyes" on the radio recently, and I'm curious about the "shout-along" in the song. I believe it goes something to the effect of "boom-lay, boom-lay, boom". Is this correct? Was it just something that felt good and seemed right, or am I misinterpreting it altogether. Thanks for the good tunes, you guys do some really awesome stuff.
