I can honestly say that your music has saved me from offing myself many times, and it has even pulled me from depression. After my parents divorced I felt like there was no where to turn, and all the counselor at school did was make it worse. My friends all abandoned me, and I was pretty close to the end of the line... Then I found you. The song 45 is the most inspirational and deep song that I can imagine, and I have listened to it 100's of times; yet each time I listen to it, I still get the same resolute feeling I did the first time I listened to it. I can't express my gratitude enough in words, so I just want you to know that you are the best band around, and to keep doing what you are doing; it's perfect. Rock on Shinedown! \m/ \m/
My husband is currently deployed. I wait here at home, along with our two sons, who are 2 yrs old and 2 months old. I am always on the internet looking for that "perfect" song, words put to music that would describe exactly the way I feel, and what I wish I could put into words. So many writers write songs from the perspective of the soldier, and I listen to everyone of them. I wish that you guys would write a song, for those of us who wait here at home.. what we wish could say to our husbands/fiances/boyfriends every day, but can't because of limited contact. How much we love them, how bad we wanna quit but keep holding on, what we would give to be held, and how we can't remember what it's like to not hurt all the time. No one else, in my opinion, could do this like you guy could...

Being fortunate to work a show for you guys was very enlightening for me. So much so that I bought every album just to feel more. Seeing how you put it all out there was amazing, and inspired me to ask you if you have ever thought of writing a song to inspire Autistic parents. I have an Autistic son of 6 years and could really give you some insight into the evil that is so unspoken yet so effective. I am sure that with the power of your presence on the subject you could really help the world know what Autism is really doing to the families who suffer through not being able to talk to their children. The reason I call Autism evil is because, anything that can stop a parent from talking with their child has to be evil. I am always too honest, I am always too forward and I promise to be as hardcore against Autism as well. I expect no response and wish you all blessed days and inspiration never ending .

I am so very much looking forward to joining Shinedown nation when we get back on our feet, soon in my highest hopes! My husband has been struck with a horrible,life changing Illness of which has changed our lives more than I could ever express or more than any one would care to hear about. Lets just say thank-you sooo... much Shinedown for making these rough days so much better for me. Your tunes have cheered me up so many days in so many ways and helped me rage when that's what I felt like doing by singing and jamming at the top of my lungs,man does that ever help!! We used to get by pretty damn well, but those days are all gone! The very day my husband win's his disability case (cross your fingers for us!) My ass is joining the nation, Can't wait! My fiance gave me The Sound of Madness CD as a gift when it came out but shortly afterwards she had a mental breakdown and went mad after years of me helping her she finely lost grip of life and as ended up in a psychiatric hospital stuck in her own madness i have tried to move on but i can't so i have taking traveling the world to easy the pain i feel now living in a camper as a travel i put The Sound of Madness on my mp3 player and every time i think of her i listen to this CD and hope some day she will come back

Are you referring to a photo you added to the gallery on the site or your profile image? For a gallery photo, link the photo on our profile page (http://www.shinedown.com/member/i/1434352/) and we'll delete it for you. For your profile image, simply hover over your display name in the top right corner, click Edit Profile and under your current image, click Browse to choose a different image you have saved on your computer and it will update for you.

How do i edit a photo after it's added? i see no way to delete it or to edit it.... i just need to make corrections & have searched for an answer, but have yet to find one...

To Edit Your Site Profile: Once you've logged into the site you will see your Display Name in the upper right corner of the page. Hover over your Display Name and click Edit Profile. There, you may enter as much information as you'd like to be visible on your site profile. To upload your Profile Photo, simply click "Choose File" to select an image you have saved to your computer and don't forget to click SAVE PROFILE at the very bottom of the page.
To Upload Photos or Videos To The Site: Visit http://www.shinedown.com/upload/ (link may also be accessed on the Photos page by clicking UPLOAD PHOTOS above the categories list) and click "Choose File" or Add a Youtube URL for a video. Then choose category, enter in a title and description and click SAVE>>. The photo may be found here: http://www.shinedown.com/photo/category/member/ shortly after you submit it.

I am so not as interested in your web site(dob 1.3.62 ) as I am your tunes.You know I listen to the likes of Pete Townsend and Keith moon..Gods of rock. I love music, I have had a hard time listening to the canned music being produced over the past couple of decades. But I herd your band and recognized some kick ass quality heavy metal rock! I think your doing a great job of the site, but there is one thing i would like to see. Is to your your profile on the page and want to make changes to your profile. I truely enjoy bent's singing voice, it's wonderful. just hope one day I could see them in concert live. just don't have the transportation to get to it.
