Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, and without prejudice or consideration, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the secular practices or religious persuasion of your choice, with respect for the secular/religious persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice secular or religious traditions at all; and also my wishes for a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2010, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make Scotland a great cultural mosaic, (not to imply that Scotland is necessarily a greater cultural mosaic than any other country or is the only nation with a cultural mosaic), and without regard to the gender, nationality, race, creed, colour, age, height, weight, intelligence, voting preference, physical ability, food preference, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.

By accepting this greeting, you also accept and agree to these terms. This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others, is void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year, or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher. The wisher accepts no responsibility for any unintended emotional and/or physical discomfort, disruption or stress these greetings may bring to those not subject to societally sanctioned or unsanctioned seasonal emotions, beliefs or traditions.

hey iandot i haven't been able to go to ihop when they have the funnel cake. lol. i usually get it when the fare comes into town which isn't until may which stinks i gotta wait till then lol. but other than that there is this place nearby where my mom lives that sells them and they are delicious they don't look like the pic dalamar posted but still yummy nonetheless. are you a big fan of funnel cakes too?

junkie- I love them. There is a casino on the coast in Mississippi (40 minutes from me) that makes funnel cakes for dessert on the buffet! Holy crap! You can add whatever toppings you want.
I think that Louisiana is the fair capital of the U.S. (seriously-that's what I've heard) so I go to a lot of them and I always get funnel cakes when I can (they actually run out, a lot!).
The ones at IHOP are good. They are usually topped with strawberries, blueberries, and I forgot the other one.

wow that's pretty cool. i've never met someone who loved funnel cakes as much as me. that's really neat. my wife likes them but not as much as me. haha. usually around october we go on a field trip with the university that we attend we go to this amusement park called six flags. since it's close to halloween they call funnel cakes frankenstein brains and they put green dye in the batter lol. and the strawberries are there for extra added effect. it's really yummy though. green funnel cakes are the best haha.

I defenitely have to try green funnel cakes :D

junkie-green funnel cakes with strawberries? Yum. Have you heard about the funnel cake sticks at Burger King yet? I just saw a commercial.
I used to go to Six Flags in Houston all of the time(before they tore it down-sucks a$$)! Do you go to the one in San Antonio?
I'm actually leaving in two hours to go to Beaumont and then Houston...

yeah they are. and yeah i just recently saw the commercial it don't look that appealing but eh i could be wrong lol. yeah the one in san anotonio is the one we go to. next time there is a texas show up in houston you gotta come down we'll meet up or something lol.

I am there. Would love to go to a show with SD family! I will be looking for it on the site and I will make sure to ask off as soon as I see something. How for is the drive to Houston for you? It takes me 5-6 hours. Not bad at all. I've done it for several concerts.

I heard from a friend that the stix were good. Have you tried them since your last post? I still haven't. No BKs near me. Isn't that strange?

hey that's awesome. yeah i'll keep looking out for it too. it's about the same for me the drive 5 to 6 hours. last time i rode the greyhound bus. so i wouldn't have to drive it and i just met up with merkjr there in houston. it was a nice ride i rode at night and arrived around 5am it was nice. no i still have not tried the sticks. i'll let you know how they are it if and when i try them.

I saw the pics on Karen's facebook. I wish that I could travel everywhere like she does! I would if I had the cash.
Cool thing that the bus ride was overnight and you could sleep (hopefully)?.
BTW, I'm going to that casino in Mississippi Friday night and having
funnel cake for dessert. Hee hee hee....

yeah me too if only i had the cash lol. it was pretty cool. i had the extra ticket for the houston show cuz my wife was orginally coming with me but in the end she couldn't make it. so i posted it up on here for my Sd nation family to have it. no strings attached i just asked for whoever wanted it to meet me in houston. perri was going to come with me but she couldn't make it either and karen said she'd come so i was like alright. she picked me up at the mcdonalds across the street from the bus station she is a really cool person. i'd like to catch more shows with more family members from my Sd nation family. i didn't really get much sleep on the bus i can't sleep on the bus lol. i just like to keep looking out the window and making sure i'm traveling the right direction, plus you can't be too careful. it was fun though i got to hang out with barry and zach after the show. it was alot of fun i'd gladly do it again. that's awesome. take a big bite of the funnel cake for me. lol.

You're right. Probably not a good idea to fall asleep on a greyhound (or any mode of public transportation for that matter). That was very cool that a member went with you. And we will have to catch the next one......
I will eat extra for you. Lol!

yeah that's true lol. well i wanted to give the ticket to someone who would enjoy it. i was having a hard time finding a taker for the ticket lol since everyone lives kinda far from texas. but in the end it all worked out well. it was a blast. i'd do it all again. and yeah we'll have to catch the next one together. it's really fun going with SD nation family. and thanks for thinking of me while your eating FUNNEL CAKKKEESS!!!! LOL.

I am going to pass by a BK today....
I am going to try the stix. I'll let you know if it's worth it.
