I go to this song when I am slipping into a depression as I am bipolar..."But when you gonna wake up and fight FOR YOURSELF"...song kick me back into reality. Thank you for you gift of writing about real life and putting it into song!

Genius lyrics, absolute simplicity of optimism is becoming an oxymoron for too many young people, soooo sad. This song hit me like a comet - it SHOULD be a theme for required learning in Middle school. Life is not that hard (unless you make it that way) for most people Western civilization has become sooo spoiled. There IS so much beauty and amazing miracles all around us, lighten up, or maybe, light up? Get off the synthetic drugs....nature is a part of you, nuture it and yourself...
