This song is very good i havent heard a song i heard from shinedown that i dont like :)
The first line of the lyrics the kids are singing really does sound like "Midnights hard nights marching into the fights" and makes sense when you look at the story (Alice marching to battle), the second line though is something more like "Drink me, shrink me, fill me, deceive me" I think, because it makes more sense :) (you know, with the bottle that's labelled "Drink Me"; Alice constantly changing sizes (growing and shrinking); maybe Alice feels incomplete since her dad died? Idk And in that world nothing is what it is, thus deception. :) )
