By the way, you folks in FL, how the heck can you survive 35C with 100% humidity? I'm dying out here!

Hey Northwestern Shinedown fans - let's hear from someone who is going to the Commodore Ballroom on Tuesday night, in Vanc BC! And, then, how about someone in Calgary for Thursday's show? Edmonton on Friday?

I still count BC and Alberta as part of the Great Northwest, don't you?

I have a buddy going to the one in Calgary, so will get the run down from him afterwards and will summarize for us here.

Hey I just got an email from the Staind Dysfunctional fan club that they are doing a show in WENATCHEE  on August 11th. How bout THEM apples? SD too, I wonder?

Yep - confirmed. The Stimulate This tour will be in Wenatchee at the Toyota Town Center on Tuesday, 6:30 PM, August 11th.

NOW my decision is harder! Wenatchee is smaller than the Clark County show in Ridgefield, and it appears to be more the kinda place where fans can have more access to the bands and back stage.

On the other hand, it's just as long a drive, and it's on a Tuesday night for pete's sake.

But, this will be good for you, Willdabeast!! Just halfway across the state instead of a long drive to Billings or a longer drive to nearly Vancouver, WA!

those are wilderbeests... i am an omnivore... capable of taking down a full sized mama or destiny or lady if i want to... but i try to stay within my own realm... eating vegetables like corn dogs and what not

Willdabeast:
a north american creature by nature, the willdabeast is an omnivore of the utmost respect in the wild... no creature with any kind of survival tactics dares venture into his realm... he tends to stalk his prey alone and has many rituals he does before hunting his prey, such a rain dance or clean his shotgun.
many willdabeasts have a surname suggesting the area that they would otherwise come from...
no two willdabeasts are the same and many people think they don't even reproduce... but scientific researches have proven they like to have one partner that is kept a secret from all
a mystical and majestic Beast, the willdabeast is a creature that many can learn from and learn more about.... as he is a friendly creature

Now, I don't know about you, but I suspect Lil Scottish Girls are pretty high on the list for Willdabeasts. Omnivore that he is, I bet his tastes run the international gamut.

I enjoyed that Animal Planet summary - thank you for the correction on the obvious differences between wilderbeests (which EVERYONE eats) and willdabeasts, who are a crafty, but friendly lot.

Yeah, the Willdabeast has a large territory, and a finely tuned sense of smell... As LSG's are one of his preferred prey, I would really keep your doors locked, and don't step outside unless you douse yourself liberally with something to mask your scent! Beer might work...

haha! Was that thing u realised that im in your domain? :) i better watch my back then. :P

Saw Shinedown the first time last year at Pain in the Grass (just before your Knitting Factory show in Spokane). Great show - the sun was going down, and lit the guys on stage with ethereal (I MEAN it) golden sunset light as they played. Terrific!

Kinda hoping (really alot!) that Shinedown will add a show closer to Seattle between the one in Billings, MT and Ridgefield. There's a week in between, with no shows listed, so I have my fingers crossed.

We were looking for a good gig to go to when we were over in Seattle in November, love it there but the only good band that was playing was AC/DC but we flew home on that same day :( Lets campaign to get more bands to the Northwest and to Scotland! :)....although a lot of good bands play here already :D

I am from Portland and most of the bands I love are from the East coast and yes, we do not get a chance to see them as much as my loved ones do on the East coast.

Hell, I know we rock it hard so come on and get out here!!!!!
