Submitted By: Melanie Burwell\n\nHello. I am the sister in law of Greg Richards, one of the four officers gunned-down in a coffee shop in Washington nov. 29th. He was a drummer since age 8, and loved to rock. A few weeks before his death, he proclaimed to his 3 kids-this is my favorite song..(if you only knew)and Shinedown is my new favorite band. The kids listen to it over and over, along with your cover of Simple Man, which could have been the anthem of his life. Kelly, his wife, feels like Greg used your songs to speak to them. Even the name of your band has meaning to them. The kids listen over and over the cd thier dad made of his favorite songs- especially because a few very strange things have happened at 4:03. Maybe someday you could find it in your hearts to speak to them...I know they would believe that thier dad made it happen for them. Submitted By: Jess\n\nI just wanted to leavea comment saying you are my by far my favorite band. I have seen you guys 5 times already and cant wait for the next time. I have been following your music since you started, got every cd on the release date and know all the lyrics to every song. There is really something powerful about your music, and i cant even express what it feels like in the midst of the crowd when you perform. I remember seeing you in Kentucky in august, before that i saw you at Rockford Wingding 2009 memorial day weekend, i Saw you at 94.1 JJO Bandcamp 2008 it was july 27th i remember being the front row and this was right after your newest album was released. the lead singer from black stone cherry came on stage and co-sang the sound of madness. I also remember seeing you play at Beloit Riverfest in 2006, it was one of the only times i saw the entire crowd use only their lighters instead of cell phone, waving in the air as you performed Simple man... I am a huge fan of music, my dad has been in bands and played double base drums since before i was born. I grew up in a classic rock background and developed my own taste for music. I love your work and everything you guys do, I hope someday, maybe the next concert i get to go to, i will be able to meet you! What a dream come true :)

Submitted By: Danny\n\nHi, I am confused. Here's the thing: When i saw the cover of 'sound of madness' i saw a face at first sight. I was thinking be myself 'why is there this ugly face on the cover.' Then i looked better and saw that it were birds flying around. Those together became the face. I really like it how its done, and probably one of the best covers i've seen. BUT. I'm the only one of all the people i know, that know this picture who see the face in it. It is really frustating and i have to know, (or i will go nuts), is there really a face on the cover, or am i tripping? Btw, some songs have a really nice lyrics, but i won't be the first who says that. That's all i need to know. Thank you And sorry for my crappy english sometimes, it isn't my main language.
