I thing about that ... from which of countries are people on Shinedown Official Page? I'm from Poland. And you? Where are you from?

I know, that most of all fans are from US, but I know - not only. I'm curious to know where are you from. Please, you will write!
You'll write also in what way you recognize Shinedown  ... US fans also. :)

I got to know about Shinedown through Apocalyptica.
I'm a faithful fan of Apocalyptica. I heard Not Strong Enough on their last record, and I've felt in love with the Brent's voice since then. His voice charmed me so much, that I began to seek all the informations about his band via the Internet.

So I found Shinedown and I've been Shinedown's great fan from the first time. I love Shinedown very, very much! They are The Best! :) I love all of Shinedown's records. Each of them is in a different style, but everyone is beautiful and exceptional!

And you?

Sorry, for possible mistakes. :)

After the recent concert with SHINEDOWN, I have to say that looking past Brent is difficlt, but Barry has a smile that trencends all other talent. I could literally see Heaven. You guys are amazing as a band and I will be a lifelong follower and fan.

I have always been a fan of Shinedown, their music has always helped through rough times and good. After meeting my best friend and finding out that this band does the same for him, it just bonded us and made us closer. I'm from a small farm town in Upstate New York.

I got to know Shinedown in 2004 while being in the hospital for routine checks since my accident in 1998. My brother's best friend came to see me and brought an MP3 player with him with various rock songs and I listened while waiting for my usual CT scan. It was 'In Memory'- I pressed repeat 6 times. Later that day he brought me the whole CD. Two days later, I bought it. Literally melted the poor thing and was mesmerized by "Simple Man". And yes, "Not strong Enough" is one of my favorites, too. Not my introducing song, though. My brother introduced me to "Apocalyptica" and I was stunned (again) with Brent's voice. I'm from Greece.

Nice to meet you too! Agree! All music and Brent's lyrics have own meaning to me too. I love his lyrics, they are very beautiful. When I hear they I have an impression that Brent knows all my own feelings and minds. As if he read in my brain and heart. These are wonderful emotions to know, that exist someone, who be able show mine feelings in so beautiful way.

I dislike covers. But I know 2 bands who make wonderful covers. In my opinion these are Shinedown & Metallica. I love all Shinedown's covers which I heard. Brent is able to sing all.:)

Anybody else?

Greetings my friends.:)))

When I heard their cover of Simple Man( the acoustic version no less) on the radio. As a Skynyrd fan myself my first thought was noboby can do that song well except Skynyrd. Then Brent started singing and, well, you all know what happened then. I've been entranced ever since. Peace and love from Ohio, USA

I was losing my mind, headed for a psychotic break or what the doctors ended up calling a "drug-induced pyschosis". I stumbled into a head shop in Lawrence, Kansas and heard Shinedown playing. It somehow gave me rhyme and reason in the midst of my dual reality, talking to devils and angels and helped me find sanity in the middle of my craziness. That was 2003.

And when I heard Second Chance!! On the radio.

I'm from Warrington UK. I first saw Shinedown when they supported Disturbed on their UK tour i think in 2008 or 2009? But when they started to play Devour i've never missed an opportunity anytime they have hit the UK... Well except once, but going to see them this tour makes up for it lol

I am from Michigan, USA and gave my teenage daughter the Sound of Madness for Christmas a couple years ago. I have never been the same.

I'm from Germany. I bought the avengers soundtrack according to the Papa Roach song "Even if I could", but I immediately fell in love with the song "I'm alive". When I saw them playing at Rock am Ring on television it finally made click and I wanted to hear more. As a result, I surfed the Internet to gather as many information about them as possible and I got all of their albums. Shinedown became my favorite band ;). Actually, I'm quite angry about myself that I have not "discovered" this band earlier.

I'm from Belgium and first time I heard about them was on television. Their video-clip from 'second chance' was being showed on television and I completley fell in love with it. So as next I started looking them up online... I hope one day I can see them live because I really love this band!

I'm from Essex in the UK, and am almost ashamed to say that the first I ever heard of Shinedown was when I saw them play at Download in June this year, and I have to say, they really brightened up my Sunday (no bands playing I was interested in that day, feeling pretty peed off about it.) Got all their albums since then, think they are absolutely amazing. Brents voice is totally mesmerizing! Better late than never eh?
So looking forward to their UK tour dates, am hoping to go to at least 2 maybe 3 of them! :D So glad I "found" them, they rescued my dim Sunday at Download.

I am from Canada. I discovered Shinedown through the music video from the movie "The Expendables" the song was diamond eyess and I am watching the video and it dawns on me...who is singing this amazing song?

So I go looking and find-Shinedown and now not a day goes by without their music being played and everyone around me being told that they have to look into the band. I love all of it but you can play Shinedown for anyone: rockers, people who are into slow lyrical music, anyone who loves stories even my little nephews (play them unity and shed some light or call me etc) going to have to save "Sound of Madness" until they are older :)

I'm from Denmark.
I was searching for new music on Grooveshark and I heard Sound of Madness and Energy. I loved it and I bought all Shinedown’ albums. Shinedown is now my favorite rock band. I have all Shinedown’ songs and most of the music from the members’ former bands like Dreve and The Faiwell.
