This wasn't my first rock
This wasn't my first rock show, but it was by far the best. My husband, who at first wasn't thrilled about going, had as much fun as me and actually asked me to find other shows to go to if we can find a sitter because he wants to be front and center again. To have the evening with my husband by my side and true inspiration and energy on stage was the last bit I needed to finally be out of this funk; to feel alive again. I've forgotten this feeling for far too long. Everyone involved for making these shows possible are just amazing. Jake, Zach, Brent, Barry and Eric-thank you for the job you do, for being true to what you love and for sharing parts of your lives with the world. You are truly amazing people. Please pass on thanks to those who work with you from these 4 fans because without their efforts and dedication, maybe these shows wouldn't be what they are and touch so many more people.
No suggestions but lots of
No suggestions but lots of feedback. First- Thank you so much for choosing our project as a first runner-up. I came across wrong when I mentioned it at the Pgh MNG. Just a bundle of nerves for so many reasons. It means a lot to us that we were recognized by some of our favorite people.
Also a big thank you to Barry for coming down to HAND a drumstick to the boy next to me. He endured loud music and drunk crowd surfers and you could see it in his eyes that he loved being there to see you guys so close (plus his family was pretty protective and really awesome!). Had you not come down to hand it to him it would have been snatched off of him by several grabby hands. I pushed a lady's hand out of the way for him, but I don't think she knew the boy was there.
Ans speaking of kids-I was surprised that the number of younger kids there, the respect they had, and the (mostly) courteousness of their parents. I am not alone in the world as my kids LOVE the music. But please, please...do not allow your children to crowd-surf! Maybe have someone mention this at shows where they see kids visibly young in the pit or standing room. It detracts from the enjoyment of people when they are concerned about getting kicked in the head as it is (but tolerable and oddly exciting), but to worry about little ones coming up through the sea of hands is a bit much. If you are too young to drive a car, you are probably too young to surf through a crowd.
Hey, I just saw you guys a
Hey, I just saw you guys a couple of days ago at Rapids Theater in Niagara Falls. Your performance was excellent, but I could barely hear the lyrics because the drum set was cranked way too high. I would have enjoyed the concert much more if I could have made out the lyrics as well. When you guys did slower songs such as "the crow and the butterfly" and such the vocals were fine because the drummer wasn't hittin' it too hard, but when you guys did songs like "bully" I could barely hear the lyrics. I would definitely recommend doing a better sound check next time you guys perform indoors. My ears are still ringing from it today. But definitely keep the performance the same because you guys have great energy. Look forward to seeing you again.

I'm truly amazed of the clarity; meaning I hear and understand every word Brent is singing ! You have once again reached out and touched your fans ! I just wish that Shinedown would come to Turkey...No wait that's not the only thing that I wish for..I wish Shinedown come to Turkey in the summer and perform at Tuborg GoldFest..Why so specific?Because Apocalyptica is also coming to this festival and I would die to see Brent Smith performing 'Not Strong Enough' with Apocalyptica :-)
I've been a fan of you guys
I've been a fan of you guys for a long while. I'm a 44 yr old rocker and Pink Floyd has been the music that could make me "feel" it in my soul... every song. But EVERY single song on Amaryllis does the same exact thing. I'm very knowledgeable about most types of music and know what "moves" me and the entire Amaryllis does it for me. The "bloom",colors, fonts, darkness of th designs and artwork could not be more perfect for the style and composition of the beautiful music Shinedowns' put out, especially on Amaryllis. Just my thoughts!

I need help getting into the fan club forums. I'm a member, and it says my account is inactive-strange as I did receive my renewal package, etc in the mail for rejoining.)
anyway, it says to contact the forum admin then gives no direction about how to do that. link anyone?
this "dual board" thing is VERY confusing-you log in here, than a separate log in for the FC? not sure who structured things that way, but it's the most cumbersome set up i've experienced and I'm a member on a number of fan sites. anyway, how do i get to an admin to straighten out getting logged in the fan club boards? tried resetting my password, can't remember my username for it-how do i rest everything? thanks

Visit your Edit Account page and scroll down to “Comment Follow-Up Notification Settings.” Now you’ll see two options.
- The Receive Content Follow-Up Emails checkbox is the same feature we had on the old site: If someone comments on a forum post you started, a photo you posted or a video you posted you will get an email telling you about it.
- The Comment Follow-Up Notification emails are a new feature: If you select All Comments from the dropdown, that means that if you comment on any forum topic, photo or video you will receive an email each time someone else comments on that post after you.
- Once turned on, these emails can stop at any time on a post-by-post basis - just click the link in bottom of the notification the email and you won’t get any more emails for that post.
- You can also go back to your edit about page and simply revert back to “No notifications” in the comment dropdown and/or unclick the content notification box.
- You are not be subscribed to these emails by default. So try it out and see what’s right for you.
