Ok just to be clear I completely understand what the bands meaning for Amaryllis is and I love it. What I mean is When I Googled the flower I seen a lot of different types of Amaryllis. One being the Naked Lady. It is a Amaryllis. The thought did cross my mind. Amaryllis is a flower and it is also a category of flowers. I know the actual flower is the one that they use to represent the Album but before it came out I did not know for sure and that's when I googled it. I guess I felt like this guys comment wasn't all that horrible and seemed he was misunderstood on how that thought came about.I think instead of attacking him maybe nicely saying This is offensive to me or just not commented on it at all would have been a better choice of reaction. I seen many comments from him in different areas trying to explain he was not meaning to offend but no one stood by his side. It seems like no one wants to get involved and I understand that but someone had to let this guy know he really is not a bad guy for bringing this up.

I am a women who really doesn't find this all that offensive. Maybe I would have if it was 1952. I actually came across this flower when goggling Amaryllis.If this is so terrible then my first thought would have had the g-raters wanting to do to me what folks did to my Great(x3)Grandmother and her two sisters in the Salem Witch Trials. This is considered to be a bit on the sexy side of romantic in today's world by most peeps. My thought was way more detailed and perverted. Glad I didn't post it before I saw all your comments. I seriously doubt the band is at all offended.
