Diamond Eyes

I got familiar w/ Shinedown when Q-102 in Springfield, MO started playing "Fly From the Inside", "45", and "Simple Man".  But what really got me was of course when I heard a song about Hayley's Comet.  I remembered my hairstylist saying she liked the song, and later bought her the CD last Christmas, which turned out to be probably one the best presents she ever got.  She said it stays in her player.  But she never burned me a copy.  However, when I heard "Diamond Eyes" on the same station,  I got curious about Shinedown again.  When I found the deluxe set w/ that song, Lzzy Hale, and a DVD on top of the Sound of Madness album, I had to have it.  Well, it isn't coming out of my player either!  My hairstylist went to your concert at the Gillioz, but didn't buy a shirt or hoodie.  So I will be on the lookout here and elsewhere for your merchandise.  You guys are great.  This is one of the best albums I've ever bought (35+ yrs.).  From someone who has heard alot of rock and roll

Just recently got introduced to Shinedown from some of the patrons at the bar I work at. It didn't take long and I was addicted! Now, when I am listening to Diamond Eyes at home, I can hear my 2-year-old boy in the background yelling "Boom-lay, boom-lay, boom-lay!" So apparently you seem to have had positive impact on him. Thanks for the great music guys! Can't wait to buy Amaryllis!
