I KNOW THERE WAS A TECHNICAL PROBLEM WITH THE CALCUALTING THE POINTS FROM THE CLICKS.......... IF THEY R WORKING ON CORRECTING THAT IS GREAT BUT LET US KNOW......... Thanks for the note and first of all, our apologies for these issues! We are so glad you have been enjoying Share Shinedown.
The "click points" issue is due to some changes and a strange bug which were introduced recently by our URL-shortening and click-tracking provider. (We integrate with a 3rd party service for those features). We are working with them to fix the issue. All the data is being stored which means that we can award points equally (in proportion to clicks of course) to all players as soon as it's fixed. It looks to be fixed by mid-next-week.
In terms of accounts, if yours (or any players') has gone missing, go ahead and sign up again, and much of your content will be restored. Since we realize that importing your activity after-the-fact, the the system may not automatically restore all your points.
However, we'll take the users who experienced problems and their activity data and do some data-crunching. We can restore points or and/or will be able to ensure that each player is treated equally.

Shinedown fans, some of you have noticed that accounts were deleted from Share Shinedown. We believe that the Share Shinedown administrator account was hacked. This is very unfortunate as tons of you have worked so hard to earn your points. In order to figure out exactly what happened and how we can assure this never happens again, we are looking into this issue further. We hope to have an answer for you in the next few days.
In the meantime, because of the great enthusiasm everyone has shown for Share Shinedown, we are going to start randomly selecting fans who’ve taken part and send some exclusive prizes.

9/17, I had to sent just one more email! It read;
We're going to wipe the system clean and restart the competition today. The hacker completely deleted some accounts and we couldn’t recover them. To be fair to everyone, we’re asking that you all please re-register.
We all personally will be watching over Share Shinedown and adding missions on a regular basis. I'm currently looking at the signed guitar that one of you will win in about 6-8 weeks! Now get on over to Share Shinedown and start earning points towards exclusive signed prizes from Barry, Brent, Eric and Zach!
Clicks-for-points is not working b.c we are having an issue with our 3rd party click-tracking service. Our engineers are working on the issue but it is somewhat out of our control.
I checked on that shinedown rocks link. The adminstrator had left a slash out, it's fixed now! Will check out the FB "like" issue. Users need to make sure they are sharing this information via their FB privacy settings.

Andrea, When I was getting all the pts u were not now u are and I am not ....which tells u they has issues, I sent another email this morning. The last one they tell me I am reaching my limit,..........I even saw some people get 13 bomb pts a few times.....Missy old skools have been a problem, if u have ur twitter and ms linked try unlinking them so they don't send the same links to each other...me and andrea have been trying different ways to do them.....
No clicks for me either since then. Today I got 12 bombs, 15 missions, and 9 old skools. And I didn't do anything different than I did on the days when I couldn't get the points. Go figure...

Same here with the clicking points. The last time I got some was on 12/3.
I think I always get points for all 12 url-bombs, but I haven't gotten all points for the url-missions in quite a while. The last 2 (sometimes only the last 1) url-missions just won't post to Twitter, I don't know what's wrong, but that means I can only share 13 instead of 15 url-missions. And I never got points for more than 3 old skools! So, never more than 60pts.
This is so messed up.

I hear ya, Mary. I just keep dropping further behind and doing the same things. Who does Claudia know?? LOL Part of me wants to stop and the other part wants to keep going just to piss Thingfo off because I will never have something nice to say about them. Maybe even not about Atlantic Records either as this is "their" contest which they have showed no initiative in doing right by. The game is messed up thinfo and atlantic could care less we r working for free (advertising) In 4 days I have been on trying all missions I dropped from 590 pts from the leader to now 1060 from the leader......................... how could that be when we r doing the same amount of missions and getting our 750 for the clicks......problems w the game for sure! U should be with caludia and so should Mary S. I messed up one day when I was out of town so lost one day of pts but that is it so I can c why I am in 2nd....
We gotta go to the end we been doing this too long...... plus before we started this game I was promoting cause I was on the street team for the orlando show..... so my fb friends have been seeing post abt shinedown since the early summer when I bought my tickets to the show, way before I even got on the street team!!!! I hope I can tell them what a great prize I won!!!!!!

Oh, Mary....I am so glad that it's not just me because I'm thinking I'm nuts! I just figured out that I am not posting to Facebook at all for missions - only bombs. So, thinking that there was an authorization problem, I disconnected my Facebook identity and then reconnected it. I didn't get points (like the first issue was way back), but now I have literally pages and pages of Facebook entries that I didn't do tonight. As a matter of fact, some of the posts listed are things I've never done (like a DeGroot post). I can only guess that it has stored up all those Facebook attempts and now posted (can't explain the DeGroot...). Of course, though, I didn't get any points.
Some people are getting 15 short missions a day.
Not sure I want to waste my time anymore. Can almost guarantee I will never participate in one of their contests again ('their' as in promoters, not the boys.....unfortunately they are the ones it affects). But this has never been kosher, nor do they seem interested in making it so.
Once each day,should be 12 bombs, 9 old skool and 12 short missions it doesn't seem to matter what time! But it keeps saying I am at the limited and each day I am following father behind .... makes no sense...
What is the limit you can post of short-url bombs, short-url missions, and old-skool links? I think I am losing points because I could be posting more.
This game is messed up still! We all r doing the same amount of missions each day and it worksdifferent for each of us..... some days u get all u can............. others days like today I can only get 10 bombs instead of 12!!!!! It gave me 8 old skools instead of 9, but gave me one more short 13 instead of 12, but not getting my 2 ..100 bombs sucks!!!!

Mary, I got 12 bombs tonight and 12 missions, but I can only get 3 old skool. Another person has 9 old skools, but mine says the limit is reached at 3 (Facebook and Twitter say the same thing). I got the click points. Rather than wishing anyone good luck in this "game," I wish them all to have a shred of sanity left at the end! haha
Andrea, it looks to me on many accounts mine included that they r now giving 4 bombs for each fb, twitter and ms,( total of 12 per day) the old school only works on fb and twitter...........was that was that how it was working at the beginning? I can't recall for sure.....missions I am still looking there are so many I think I did get 5 from each FB twitter and ms if I added right! The click r maxed out at 750 on all the account I looked at.....mine included , I didn't look at all of them........

I actually found that one person got points for 12 URL bombs. Not only is it not working right, but it is inconsistent for different people. I want the money they got paid to run this..... for selling a piece of junk. I hope they aren't asking anyone to be a reference lololol.

But mcj48 is right, it's not working according to the "rules". The limit for short URL-bombs and -missions went up to 10.
Nope, not working according to it's posted at How It Works.... On 11/20, missions were posted over the limit for some people. One person had 7 short URL bombs posted at 100 points a piece. The limit is 4 per day according to the "rules". Also allowed over-limit short URL missions to be posted. But not for everyone because I wasn't one of those people.
The "rules" also say that you get points for favoriting and liking YouTube videos. I tried it...it doesn't work either.
Nope, not fixed, and still not right.
