I think it depends on the number of people that are there. I have a meet and greet in two days in Nottingham and I will tell you details when it's over. Btw I got my details when I have to be there today, two days before is really short. Luckily I read the mail, was it the same for you back then?

I had the meet and greet in Amsterdam. They signed anything we wanted.
I had some scraps with me wich they signed and they signed my tickets.
Artist Arena sent me the email with the details when Shinedown was already on stage.
I went to the venue very early and looked for Jake and just asked him about it.
He told us to be there at 5 pm and it would be okay. :D

Mine was a funny story. I followed the e-mail, got there 2 hours before showtime and was told to wait by the fence and they would get me. I waited and waited and was never gotten ha. I went to the head of the venue security and he said they already got the meet n greet people and it wasn't Jake. Later on I was persistent in trying to redeem my package since I spent the $140 to do so and luckily ran into the head of Atlantic Records at the show who was an amazing guy and said he heard about my story. He said give him 5 mins and then said, ahh screw it, come with me. Took me backstage and met Eric, Zach and Barry for pics and autographs...then took me to the bus to meet Brent, we chatted, had a beer and watched Arrested Development for a bit haha it was amazing. In fact, if you click on the homepage of Shinedown and go to Shinedown Nation sign up...that's Brent and I doin the devil horns...
So, I'm guessing my meet and greet was very different from everyone else's which is why I'm not sure on this meet and greet haha.

Ha sounds a bit like my first M&G. 3 years ago. I won it through Shindown nation.
Even had the email and all, but when we got to the venue, we waited for a long time. It seemed that no M&G was planned for this show.
We asked Jake but he said there's no M&G and i showed him the email that said that i won it. He went back in and after a while he came out and took us into the guys dressing room, where we had the M&G this was awesome.
Very intimate there were only 4 of us.
The only things i didn't like was the fact that the doors were already open and we couldn't get front row anymore.

Thats one of the things I'm wondering is when and how its gonna happen. I wanna see the other bands so I'm hoping they do it an hour or so before the show and not during the first set like some bands do...I'd like to try and get as close as possible for the show.

well i don't know how it's going in the US but last week the M&G was about an hour before the doors went open.
And we were allowed into the concert room before it started.
I think the one we had 3 years ago, went wrong because Artist Arena screwed up and didn't let the guys and Jake know about the M&G.

Did you get an itinery off Artist Arena for last week, I've got a M&G booked for next friday and all I've had is a confirmation email....says I should receive more details no later than 1 week before the show.

I got it two days before :/ i wrote them several mails before, but finally i got the mail. at the meet&greet i think there were 2 people missin maybe they had problems with the mail. it was really horrible to wait for the f**kin mail^^

I'm fairly sure that Jake is Head of Security. I've not had anything for Friday's M&G, I've tweeted Jake asking what the score is and he said "1hour before doors". If I hear nothing by the time I go to the gig I'll just hang around the tour buses til I see Jake.

No worries , Ive been trying to avoid vids posted on you tube & reviews of gigs on the tour , so that I can get a total surprise , cant wait ! as I missed them on SOM tour , I have also heard that Download will be confirmed next week , that was on a Face book post so dont know how true it is /
The Glasgow gig is close to sell out so shouldnt have a prob getting rid of ticket , read that once the M&G was over you cud go straight into venue before doors opened , so hopefully I can shift the ticket before the doors open !

Fireball , thats a shame ! , I know the distance very well , lived in Moss-side for 2 years then Prestwich before 3 yrs in Bury !! , the Manc Academy is a great gig , real sweaty !! , Friday is Birmingham yeah ? , did you see the Kerrang online competition to win tickets to a one-off SD/Halestorm acoustic gig in Kerrangs offic in Brum ? , was on Halestorms FB page , gig is during Friday afternoon....Cheers !!

Alright peeps gotta ask this.
What happens in the meet and greet session?? I'm meeting them during the Avalanche Tour. Now, I purchased a meet n greet package years ago, but due to weird conditions, I met them after shows because I was left behind (followed instructions, they just forgot to get me lol)
So my q is this: Are you allowed to bring in memorabilia for them to sign or is it strictly one item and a picture w/ the guys?
