I've been through alot of things in the last 20 years that I wouldn't wish on anyone and I can say that I've made it through all of it and am stronger for it. I was in Baltimore on Feb 19 and met you each for autographs and I must say I was so impressed with each of you. (thanks for the birthday hug, Eric!). This stands out as one of my most favorite songs. My sister who is a year younger then me has been struggling with drug and alcohol addiction for the last 20 years. This song reminds me so much of her. She is probably the biggest reason I became a mental health nurse since in some cases the self medicating and mental health go hand in hand. I would love to save them all but will do what I can to give them a place to feel loved and safe. Such a great song!!!

I'm 54 years old and when I heard this song I felt like you were writing a song about my life. When I was in my 30's I had issues with substances I'd rather not mention but I did things that I'm still ashamed about. Luckily someone saved me, my wife, or I wouldn't be here today. I'd be just like the video, there'd be people going to my funeral. Every time I here this song I get the chills and it reminds me of what could have been and it helps keep keeping on.

For most of my life I've either abused drugs or they've abused me, so I can really identify with "Save Me." I've lived in that hallway with no rooms & kept warm by the light of a candle. You are an absolutely amazing lyricist, Brent, & your sense of timing & tempo change is freakin' awesome. You're a musical genius & I anxiously await your next CD. I don't know how you do it, but every CD you've released has been better than the last. Your last CD blew my mind & the next will probably drive me "far beyond gone." You keep producing such excellent music & you'll leave a greater legacy than the Beatles or that Elvis guy - LMAO@EP
