Yer just got the email too. So are we presuming there's no Shinedown nation ballot ones happening this time? :? Doubt we'll be able to get ours through this as it's already costing a bomb with travel and accomadation for 3 shows so can't really justify

Agree Jess, I'm more annoyed cos last year it was free and now it has jumped up. I don't grudge that on the guys but I know they don't decide on the pricing. Will just have to hope we meet them after the show :)

Yup i'm sure it is management and not the band who organise the 'ticketless packages', but i'm not sure they've (management) considered the fans who are already fc members and would have to pay out more than someone not in the fc for the same deal (yes technically you are getting renewal, but for anyone who is already a member and going to more than one show or going with someone who wouldn't want to be in the fc, you're ending up with alot of of fc packages that you don't really need).
Anyway fingers crossed they'll have another option exclusively for fc members (like a ballot or added option of early entry), otherwise i guess we'll just have to catch the boys after the show.

Ijust ordered my vip package. I won't take any risk about seeing the guys after the show cause last time they were gone already when we came out of the venue :)

Well I thought the fair way would be to give the members of here a ballot like last year, since we have already paid to join here beforehand and that costs nearly

Would have been a lot nicer, i agree.
But last time all kinda things went wrong. At first i got a M&G for one of the UK dates, wich i wasn't going to
You told me then that they were calling my name

And at the Amsterdam gig they didn't know about a M&G. At last i got it , but it was right before the show began, and we had to go in last, so no frontrow.

But on the good side, the meet and greet was in their dressing room and there were just 4 of us :)

Well, this is just the pre world tour show, so if you don't catch them this time, at least you know to save in advance for the next one. Linkin Park do a members ballot and it's verging on impossible to get a ticket, so in the end you could miss out ever meeting them. I give them credit that they told us via twitter multiple times there would be meet n greets when the gigs were anounced, so the opportunity was there to put money aside.. saying that I still borrowed from my bro to get the tickets. For the tours in the US you had to buy the packages and they were more expensive than ours. Im assuming they want more people to sign up & i'd have to renew eventually, so at least in November I don't have that to pay out! There's always pros and cons but the guys are so friendly & I like my albums signed, so im willing to pay it!

Fair enough, but my point is that it was free for SD Nation members last time they were here and now it has jumped up to

Ah, the guys are much bigger now, the last time they were here was over 2 years ago, they've been in the US touring loads. I guess it just reaches a point that things have to be organised properly, bigger venues mean more people and it isn't possible to hang out after all the time... plus if the tour schedule is back to back it's pack up and move on after the shows! If you did see them they wouldnt refuse a photo just cos you hadn't paid for the meet & greet. Nickelback was

So if I was to buy a M&G would I still be able to get to the front row without forcing my way there?

M&G normally allow priority entry. This is because most of the time they are just before doors open and you then don't have the opportunity to get in the queue where you would want to be. It's a good perk, means you don't have to wait outside for ages. Generally not popular with those outside when they enter and realise all the barrier space is gone, but hey ho!

Well maybe they are bigger in the US but I don't believe they are bigger over here yet and they are playing some of the same venues they did in Nov 09 (atleast in the UK anyway), I'm not gonna argue with you we both obviously have different opinions and I'm sticking with mine.

It's ok, I wasn't a member of SD nation when they were here last, although I did see them in London. But since I have been I've always paid for the M&G with them, so had no expectations of it being free. I just accept as with all other bands that I'll pay extra and just set a limit at how much im prepared to pay. M&G are one part of everything they do, & the most important part is the show itself and how amazing that will be. It's been so long since they've been here, I intend to give them a huge welcome and enjoy myself!

well I've booked m&g's for the Birmingham gig....my ticket is for the balcony so if I can get to the front of that I'll be well pleased :D

So finally I am here again^^ unluckily I cannot use my old name, but Helldevil88 is almost the same as Helldevil^^

Do you know how I get the Shinedown Nation welcome package? At the show or by shipping, I am a bit confused because the informations from Artist Arena are really rare. I don't even know now how the M&G will work :(

Hi Helldevil, welcome back! My name is Rita
