Wow, I didn't know that either, but I renewed early last year, so mine never rolled over like that.

I renewed early in 2010, so my membership rolled over that time and they didn't charge my card again. This year, however, I renewed early, back in Nov, and I just got a notice saying that the automatic renewal didn't go through. I will be making sure I wasn't double charged, but that kind of makes me mad, especially since I renewed so early. :?

I found out that there is a way to deny it for a short period of time.
follow the link in the email you get, it will take you to your account. and then there is an option where you can cancel the renewal.
I found that out later, but i wanted to renew anyway.
I just didn't like the way they do it, without asking :(

But I thought that would be illegal for them just to take it without notifying you? Unless you have a direct debit or similar set up with them then i wouldn't have thought it was allowed?!

Just letting you guys know that if you don't cancel your membership, Shinedown Nation will automatically charge your credit card for $35 and add another year onto it. I was a little angry when I got an email saying this. I may be the only one that didn't know that, but I figured I'd warn whoever might not know.
