Why Don't We Take Shinedown With Us?

I had an idea...to kinda see the world and have a little bit of Shinedown with us anywhere we go...as in snap a picture of you or your friends somewhere unique, rocking Shinedown gear.

I'm not talking about in front of your house, but if you go on vacation or a cruise or something, snap a pic and send it in. It allows others to see the world or famous monuments, etc, while still having fun incorporating their travels into the Shinedown website. I dunno, just a random idea...I just got back from New Orleans, but didn't take a pic wearing the shirt, but had it on me the last day there haha. Lemme know what you think and we can do it here or set up something maybe on Breaking Inside for fun and can last many, many months!

lol this sounds like a great idea. I work as a recruiter for the university whre I graduated from. I am constantly in different cities still within Texas but some sites are really something so I'll take my pics when I'm out traveling. This is a great idea though I really like it. Shinedown travels the world through each and everyone of their incredible fans.

This is a great idea! I took advantage of the store sale, and I also bought shirts at the COM and A&E shows, and also got the limited edition hoodie at the A&E show. Not that I ever travel, except to concerts! LMAO

We're doing something similar at my pre-school. My sister had to do a report on a children's author for a recent class, and she really got into Jan Brett, who is an amazing artist and author. Jan wrote some books about a little hedgehog named "Hedgie", and my sister fell in love with him. I found a small hedgehog stuffed animal, and we send it on "trips" with the children, but they have to take pics of where they go and what they do with "Hedgie". (Kind of like a "Flat Stanley" thing!) He just got back from a cruise where he lounged by the pool, chilled out on the deck railing, and even gambled! LMAO They took a pic of him on the Roulette table! I told the little girl who took him that she was a bad influence, she said, "It wasn't me! It was my Dad!"

This is a great idea, and sounds like fun! I can't wait to see the pics everyone posts! I'm sure I can come up with something, though the budget is tight right now. But there are a LOT of Shinedown "related" places in FL I can drive to, like Jacksonville, Sanford, Tampa... :D

true!! lol i want a shirt

I'm glad everyone is loving the idea. We did something similar at the school I was at in regards to where are the graduates and some wore their shirts in Vegas and mountain climbing, etc. I figured this would give us something to do, not like a mission, just for fun or if you're out and about. Now when I said you don't have to be on the front porch, I didn't mean it lol. If that's where you're from, then snap away with something cool.

For instance, I'm from Chicago...so I could def do one in front of Wrigley Field or the Bean downtown...

I'm not gonna be in the UK anytime soon or Texas for that matter, so if you live there, find something cool or a landmark and take a pic. We don't have to shell out money, cause most of us haven't been to these cities or found these landmarks.

I'm excited to see where we begin, and hopefully won't end!

Yeah, I was afraid to wash mine as well. ESP. since the sizing is smaller than I'd expected, adn I didn't want it to shrink. But I washed it in cold water, then let it air dry on a hanger and it's fine, though I will still be very careful with it!
This sounds like a LOT of fun! I don't get to travel as much as I used to (before the job started to interfere)
but I still get out once in a while. I had a friend make me a Shinedown logo shirt with the design in rhinestones.

Maybe you guys will see it soon... :D
Wow that sounds great, would love to see it!!!

My buddy is almost done with my tat. Then I'll be taking shinedown with me everywhere.

Ha, I'm dumb, guess I could have started this thread, but here's a pic of my tat...it's for my mom who has Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, which is cancer of the lymph nodes. Recently she was cleared, for the 3rd time, of chemo but I got this done a couple months ago, as you could tell by the plastic wrap. It's got Shinedown's "Even in Madness, I Know You Still Believe" lyric.

It looks good! I like how it has the worn out edges like it has been through some tough times. Great!
