Welcome, Amber! What part of GA are you in? I from N. FL, the wet & rainy state right now! But hopefully we WILL NOT get the snow that the weather people keep threatening us with! LOL

You guys are getting it down there? In NY we're currently snowed in and it's still snowing! We got like 2 ft. Ugh I hate it up here...

I'm not looking forward to the snow if we get any this winter. Last year it snowed so much that car doors were blocked from all the snow and people couldn't leave their houses. It was kind of a blessing in disguise because it snowed Christmas eve and day, and my work was supposed to be open, and of course, no one wants to work on holidays and we had that snow storm and on top of that it would melt during the day and then freeze during the night so a lot of the roads were frozen over. Quite possibly on of the worst winter weather experiences I've had.

It snowed here a couple of days b4 Christmas in '89. Yes, snow in FL! It snowed all the way to Orlando and Tampa which are about 180 miles SOUTH of me. The whole state SHUT DOWN because we weren't prepared for it. The interstates were shut dwon all the was past Orlando and Tampa, and I-10 was closed all the way across the state. It only snowed a couple of inches, but then it melted and froze into black ice. :( It was the craziest thing to see chains on the emergency vehicles. Give us a hurricane, and we just shrug our shoulders. Give us snow and we freak! LOL I hope everyone defrosts very soon!
An example of FL's crazy weather- the week started out in the teens- 18F on Mon, 19 on Tues... today it's supposed to be in the 70s, which is supposed to last throught he weekend. And that is why everyone is sick! :(
