Ok, I got my package for this, but Grrrr! It's GA. Way to have "premium seats" as part of the package and then say it's GA. Anyway, hope to see some of you there!

Thinking about it now, kinda wish I had known ahead of time. I would have rearranged my schedule and tried the HoB where there were going to be seats. Too late now.

Ok, I emailed artist arena about it and it's GA because they haven't worked out all of the seating arrangements. Those buying the packages WILL have seats, but they will email them at a later date. Phew, that makes me relieved.

Wait, I thought they were all seats. The seating chart that the preorder site had and this one I used because the other one was unbearably small and difficult to read have no GA areas on them http://www.teamonetickets.com/seating-chart/wellmont-theatre-map.html[/…]. Anyways, I spent the 95 bucks on what looks like fourth row (AA-A-B-C) because that looked like the best deal. I went GA for the HOB show because 95 bucks for Row E seating in that venue is a complete and utter rip off.

Apparently my package said GA on it and that's a mistake. That's what I was confused and upset about and emailed artist arena. But yes there will be seats. I just don't know where my seats are.

And cool, maybe I'll meet you there!

Speaking of packages and mistakes, something similar happened to me at com, I had bought the platinum package, and it only listed as one ticket for 1000 instead of two at 500 each. Well the ticket booth person wouldn't give me my second ticket, even though I had a copy of the package details with me and showed it to her. Thank goodness that Jake is super awesome because he took care of everything and made sure that I got my second ticket. I am gonna have to say thanks when I see him at the acoustic show.

I was thinking about the Wellmont, but I'm going to go to the House of Blues. I've seen the boys there before and it's a pretty good venue...and I can make a weekend out of it....I think I'm going to go for the $175 for the ticket and meet and greet. Our boys are worth every penny....

Yes they are Lynn!! If given the choice, we'd have done the same thing. Weekend down in AC, HoB is a great venue, but we have plans for that date already. Plus Montclair isnt too far from work, so we can just hang in the area, get a good dinner and then head to the show.

I just got my tickets for the Montclair NJ show from their site because I never received anything by e-mail and when I clicked on the link at Shinedown Nation it just brought me to Ticketmaster where it said tickets went on sale today at 12:00 - anyway, I ended up with row U in the second orchestra section. It never gave me an option of the packages either.

Did this happen to anyone else out there? For those that did get the link, what kind of seats did you get? Not too upset because it looks like a pretty small place so probably no bad seats in the place.

See you all there!

I still don't know :( My seats will say GA until they fix that and actually give me seat numbers. I know Rangersuk got the silver package and he was row A.

Abby,
It's been awhile since I've been on, so busy! Did you get your tix yet? I haven't got mine yet and of course I like to worry!!

I'm not sure who is comiong with me yet. Jocelyn of course wants to go but I really want to bring her 5 year old daughter Alexis with me. She went to see The Jonas Bros with my wife this summer and now she is so into music I have to set her in the right direction! But Jocelyn thinks she is too young for a show like this (hello, it's acoustic). She forgets that her first show at 6 years old was Ronnie James Dio (RIP). I want to be the cool Pop Pop that she goes to concerts with.

I'll know better when we get close to the show but if you and Matt want to have dinner with us before the show let me know.

Dave

Got my e-mail today, my tickets are in the mail!!

Hi Dave!

Sorry, been overseas and just got home. It was so nice to get that email because I knew the tix would be in the mail when we picked it up from the post office. Yeah, I totally had been worrying too, as I didn't even know where my seats were yet! (Btw AA, 105 & 6)

Hmm, tough call. I'll let you work that one out. But I think dinner sounds great. Do you know of any places? If not, I can ask around work and see what they recommend.

Also, you bringing anything with you for the guys?

Just curious is anyone from NJ going to the House of Blues show in AC?

I do know a lot of people are (in fact I think more on the boards here are going to HoB vs Wellmont) but it's been scattered thru various other messages.

Abby,
Yeah I don't know of too many places down there, I went to a Jewel show once there with Jocelyn and we just ate at a small sandwich shop right near the theatre.
I might have an extra ticket if you know anyone who wants to go. Jocelyn won't let me take her daughter so the ticket is up for grabs!! I have a good friend that came with us to the Nokia Theatre show that would come but if I can sell the ticket first I could use the money! As you no it is a second row seat with meet & greet for $175.
As far as what I'm bringing, I am bringing them some more wine. They said on the live chat they they wanted more wine!
ONE WEEK TO GO......

Aww that's awesome! I wish I knew if they liked the truffles. I'm probably going to do that again as honestly, I don't know of anyone who doesn't like them, but I got a new spin on them - peppermint!

Only a week to go!

I finally got my email about the M&G, was starting to get nervous about it. So it looks like 6 pm for the M&G, so we'll probably be in the area like 430, 5 for dinner. When do you think you're getting there Dave?

I am planning on leaving work at 4 so should be there by 4:30. I remember parking being tough down there last time. Send me an email with your cell # and i will forward you mine. wineowines@gmail.com. see you tomorrow!!

Just wanted to say to all the shinedown fans going to the show at the Wellmont tonight -- HAVE A GREAT TIME -- One more day for my show at H.O.B. I can't sit still at work right now we are leaving today and making a weekend out of it. ENJOY EVERYONE...SHINEDOWN ROCKS!!!

Ok, I have very mixed feelings from last night. I had such an awesome time last night, but I'm very sad that that's the last one. Meeting the band was, just wow, and they loved the little gift bags I got them and they all gave me hugs!! But they were also a lot more reserved and rushed then they were at CoM, at least until we got to the guitar signing and then they finally opened up and laughed. The actual concert (including Bear and Will Hoge) was the best one I've gone too, and completely different, but IMO better than CoM. Their setlist was unbelievable and I was sooo happy they played the one song I was hoping to hear at the acoustic show. And the guys were so spiffy in their outfits! Oh and I finally met Theresa!

However, the idiots in the audience almost ruined it. Brent is pouring his heart out telling his stories, and the idiots at the bar are laughing, being loud, and generally obnoxious. Then there jerks sitting around me that didn't want me to stand (hello we are at a concert!), and the people shouting out songs they wanted to hear (um, setlist anyone?) and other general idiotic things the guys probably don't want to hear, and the guy next to me to who totally stole the drumstick Barry was trying to give me. Luckily Jake saw that and totally threw in some picks of Zach's into my guitar case. Jake had his hands full with people trying to get on stage and rocking the bus, but he was a sweetheart to me.

I really wish the entire show was available on CD, it was sublime. I will post some pictures after I've gone thru them all and decided which ones to post.

I too like Abby like to stand at a concert. To me it seems more out of respect for the band. don't you think they wanna see us standing and rockng with them? Even Brent was telling us to get up on our feet.
Abby, I was there till midnight waiting for my shirt. It was so worth it, Zach was so concerned about them getting my shirt to me quickly so I didn't have to wait. I'll try to get a pic of it to show you. It's dated and numbered as well as the artwork. Zach wrote on it 'If you're going to be too faced, make 1 of them pretty'!!

I agree with a lot of what you are saying there, duder. However, as someone who didn't want to stand, let me defend my position. First of all, thanks to preordering a seat that was $35 cost $95, so I want to get my money's worth. Seriously though, I've been to shows where you hoot and holler and stand for goddamn near 4 hours. Been there, done that. I just wanted a real acoustic show experience. This was supposed to be an acoustic show and as far as I know acoustic shows are supposed to be more chill than normal ones. You sit, you listen, you have an intimate vibe with the band. You don't walk out horse and with a headache. You walk out suprisingly calm, like you're in a bath at just the right temperature. I want that vibe. Unfortunately we live in New Jersey, where people are assholes who feel they need to yell and scream over anything and everything.

One more thing, kinda selfishly, I knew at Wellmont that I was going to be standing all night for the HOB AC show, so I wanted the best of both worlds (oh, honey I know what its worth, we can have the best of both worlds!) get a sitting vibe/perspective and then tonight get a standing, grooving perspective...and groove I shall!

No, I will agree that for the most part, I was ok with sitting. But there were times to stand and for someone to actually tell Dave to sit down...I dunno. Just weird. The whole vibe was really weird. And also...and here is where I will get selfish...the front row was way too close to the stage. Matt and I had to sit low in our seats and crane our necks to look up, so that standing actually made it more comfortable for us. But at least by sitting, I was able to get the shots.

The onstage seating for this show was in the back corner. I am so glad I didn't go for that one. I would rather be front and center to see the show.

people were totally rude; talking and laughing when Brent was explaining the songs. I actually turned around and screamed for the people at the bar behind me to shut the fuck up. All in all a very lame crowd. I think the people next to us didn't even know one song. I think they were there by mistake ;-)

I was sitting for most of the show, but said fuck it for fly and stood up for the whole song. The people behind us obviously didn't care about the show so I didn't care that I was blocking their view!!

Also, a little disappointed that they exchanged out Burning Bright for the Crow & the Butterfly, but it's all good - they could sing the alphabet and I'd be happy!!!! Looking forward to next tour...

They didn't exchange it, they flat out left it off the set. I know this, because at HOB Burning Bright was inbetween Crow and Devour.

I also understand the "too close to the stage" argument. I was in row C and had to slouch some to take the burden off my neck.

As for the standing, yeah most people stood for Fly and the encore as well as Sound of Madness. I stood and applauded after they played Shed Some Light because they never play it anymore. I do have to say it was very uncomfortable to stand at that venue, the rows were way too close to each other.

I really hope that's not the case for my venue. I am going to be disappointed if it happens. I didn't want to buy one of the lower packages because no one I knew wanted to go or wouldn't be able to take the time off, and didn't want to buy a package that would waste a seat.

Wow Abby, I understand what you mean by rude. At House of Blues, the show was awesome. We had a great time being 3rd & 4th in line. Was great hanging with and meeting other Shinedown fans in line. We were 3 back from stage and right in the middle. However, when Brent was talking and explaining the song meanings, rude 'people' (can't call them fans) were shouting shut up and sing. If I heard it I know the guys heard it. Brent (class act that he is) just kept telling the stories (that most of us wanted to hear) and didn't so much as acknowledge the rude people (again can't call them fans). They hung out at the black jack tables after the show. Brent even signed my jacket (his pic is air-brushed on it). Until once again, they got swarmed and Brent had to leave. I've now met them twice and respect them more than I ever have. Some people just don't know how to act. All I can say to The Guys is, don't let a few idiots spoil it for the rest of us who Love and Respect you. Best Acoustic show I have ever seen. I will also post some pics as soon as I've gone through them.
Have a great shot of Eric & Brent.

See, I'm kinda surprised by this. At CoM, it seemed that everyone just loved them, there were no rude people or at least you could ignore them. There has always been this great vibe with shinedown fans, which is one of the reasons that I have become active in the fan club and have become a bigger fan. Kinda disappointed by these people. And you really can't say they were there to see the opening act as they basically were the show, no offense to Will Hoge or Bear.

Glad to hear you had a good time and got to meet them.

Ok, I posted pictures from here on the main Shinedown site. I placed them under the Wellmont Theater Concert page, under photos, and as of now, all 27 shots are mine. If there are any issues, I'd be happy to post a few of my favorite here too.

Yes they are Lynn!! If given the choice, we'd have done the same thing. Weekend down in AC, HoB is a great venue, but we have plans for that date already. Plus Montclair isnt too far from work, so we can just hang in the area, get a good dinner and then head to the show.

I was thinking about the Wellmont, but I'm going to go to the House of Blues. I've seen the boys there before and it's a pretty good venue...and I can make a weekend out of it....I think I'm going to go for the $175 for the ticket and meet and greet. Our boys are worth every penny....

Apparently my package said GA on it and that's a mistake. That's what I was confused and upset about and emailed artist arena. But yes there will be seats. I just don't know where my seats are.

And cool, maybe I'll meet you there!

Re: Wellmont Theater 11/19
Ok, I got my package for this, but Grrrr! It's GA. Way to have "premium seats" as part of the package and then say it's GA. Anyway, hope to see some of you there!

Thinking about it now, kinda wish I had known ahead of time. I would have rearranged my schedule and tried the HoB where there were going to be seats. Too late now.

Ok, I emailed artist arena about it and it's GA because they haven't worked out all of the seating arrangements. Those buying the packages WILL have seats, but they will email them at a later date. Phew, that makes me relieved.
