STAIND, SHINEDOWN, CHEVELLE AND HALESTORM DELIVER ROCK FANS THEIR OWN BAIL-OUT;
U.S. TOUR KICKS OFF JULY 1 IN PEORIA, IL, FEATURING DISCOUNTED TICKET PRICES AND LOCAL VALUE ADD-INS FOR TICKETHOLDERS

Hard rock mavens Staind, Shinedown, Chevelle and Halestorm will be teaming up this summer for the Stimulate This! tour, a four-band bill designed to offer fans maximum value at a minimal price.
Making its way across the U.S. beginning July 1 and extending through early September, the Stimulate This! tour will hit more than 40 U.S. markets, including some of the hardest hit by the recession. In a show of solidarity for their fans, the four bands have worked closely with the concert promoters to create a package of exceptional value for ticket buyers. Through their collective efforts, theyve been able to maintain modest base ticket prices that remain mostly under $40 each - half the cost of comparable multi-band summer tour packages - with some venues offering lawn seats for less than $10. Additionally, each tour stop will include special promotions for ticket holders that will vary from market to market, but could include discounts on concessions at the venue during the show, store discounts at local retailers, and online rebates for band merchandise to name a few.
Wall Street got its bailout; now its time for rock fans to get theirs, said Staind frontman Aaron Lewis. This summer, we want to give our fans one night where they can forget about everything else and experience a great rock show.
"We've always said that we, as a band, only answer to one boss...and that's everyone in the audience, offers Shinedown's Brent Smith. "Its our job...our privilege to offer our fans an escape. Teaming up with these other great bands, we're doing what we can to help lift everyone's spirits in these tough timesthe power of music can do that."

Also, putting in the plug to extend the tour to anywhere in the Cincinnati, Dayton, Lexington or Louisville areas!

Submitted By: Katie\n\nThis is an awesome idea. Think about it..Just as any business is being hit by the recession so is the music industry. There are more and more people that I know personally saying "Don't waste your money on tickets, you need to save all you can right now" and more and more people are staying home instead of going to concerts. So this is a great idea to get more people living in the now and enjoying life while they have it. I live 3 hours from Springfield MO but at the very last minute at 3 pm I found out Shinedown was going to be there. (My internet had been shut off due to non payment the bill got so high)I said, "You know what? I am going I can't sit here and wish that I had gone that night and hope they come back to St. Louis soon. I have to do this for me. So I did and I am so happy that I made that decision. I'm so happy I was provided with the oppourtunity that day at that exact time I happened to be able to use WIFI to see that Shinedown was going to be there that day it was meant to be.

Submitted By: Luke S\n\n"sound of suckness" you have no idea what you are talking about. shinedown is an unbelievable talented band. just by you saying that i can tell you know nothing about music. nobody cares about your sucky death music that all u do is scream at and beat each other up. ya thats a good concert. i can do that at my house. i, on the other hand, like to enjoy good rock music from someone who has an unbelievable voice like brent. plus, shinedown is such a positive, good-hearted band that gives it their all on stage. very few bands do that. now excuse myself as i go post nonsense on a death bands page that i dont like. you're a loser.
