"Simple Man" back on the setlist?

I saw a nice video from the NY show on Saturday where they played "Simple Man." I asked a friend who went to the Providence show if they played it there and she said yes, but she's not a huge fan and doesn't know most of Shinedown's songs so I don't really know if she even understands what song I am talking about. I am just curious if "Simple Man' is going to be a regular song on the setlist now? Anyone going to upcoming shows please let us know!

At the bethlehem show, Brent said something about not ending a show on a ballad "its bad taste". so they ended with Cry for Help after Simple man and 2nd chance. If you read some other threads on here about how dead the crowd was, maybe it was because of that, try one last time to liven people up.

ah i see. i saw a recent vid of Sd in albany new york and the last song they played was second chance. but if you check out the other vids from that show that crowd was definately rockin and giving the guys tons of energy. so i guess it will depend on how the guys feel they want to end the show.

Oddly enough, the very next night, they ended the AC show with Second Chance. The crowd was is no need of livening! In fact, I think maybe they used it to cool people off. :-)

Nod i looked at some vids from albany before i went and that crowd was alot more amped then the one in Bethlehem. I looked at the set list from the Times Square show and they ended with 2nd chance too, it seems like Bethlehem is the only one they didnt so far for whatever reason.

Speaking of covers, I really liked the new addition "Sittin on the dock of the bay". Very nice.

I disagree, I felt the crowd come the break in between Left Out/Fly and Simple Man was quiet. I was trying to start Simple Man chants but no one was joining. i was actually quite disgusted. Same thing at the NYC show, I actually shouted out "You guys are quieter than a Knicks game!" because I was so mad. Maybe I should go to a SD show in the South or something, from what I've seen Southern SD fans are crazy loud!

It is special every time they play it. They started with it being a tribute to their native Jacksonville posse...Lynrd
it became necessary to dedicate it LIVE when Dimebag was murdered and left a void in music
now it is still special as Brent sings, Barry and Eric sit back and raise toasts above and we are able to dedicate it to whomever we wish now!
Simple Man was appropriate as I took my son to his first ever concert...a Shinedown head-lining show in Youngstown,OH.
How could it NOT have been appropriate to have that song about teaching a son?
