Hate to live here sometimes ... I was waiting for so long to watch it and now ... oh well .. hope you can upload it on YOUTUTBE or HERE soon!!! Good I could to watch the MAKING OFF ... now I'll just have to wait a little more longer ... that's the story of my life .. still waiting for my TSOM (black) from the mail ... Seems the customs in Brazil love SD because they don't want to deliver the cd to me ;) More waiting ...

I remember seeing you guys perform here in Utah with my mom and dad, and what a life changing event that was for me. I remember Brent on stage, explainingto everyone to go out for your dreams and to never let anything stand in the way of what you want right before you guys played Second Chance. It truly gave me new found hope and every time I listened to this song, it gave more strength to push through all my injuries, set backs, and all of my hard ships, so hopefully my second chance could come. I still dream that one day I will be a profetional ballerina. I believe things happen for a reason, so I never let the walls get to me. I just found stronger rope to climb over them. And for so many of them, your music and this song was one of the strongest ropes I had. Thank you, thank you, thank you guys so so so much!!!! This means more to me then you will ever know and this song will have a home even closer to my heart. My mom is Julie …she is the one who posted below me. We are both huge fans, we have been from the start and always will be! THANK YOU!!

She left a short version of some of her struggles to keep dancing on your blog asking for ideas for the Second Chance video. Her's was a way watered down version of what we have really gone through keeping her dancing. In addition to her accident at 5 that was suposed to leave her crippled, and the lyme disease that left her with lower back arthritis....she also had surgery on both ankles in 2006, broke her back in another accident in Jan 2007. She missed a lot of classes...but she is still dancing and still dreaming of some kind of a career in ballet. She also didn't mention that she studies in Salt Lake City, UT and we lived in Evanston WY and made that hour and a half drive every day even in blizzards so she could attend her classes at Ballet West Academy. She has worked so hard and it has been really tough watching her struggle. You are her favorite band so she is so excited that your video is using her story. But I have an idea....you could actually help make her dreams of dancing professionally a reality if you give her a shot at performing in one of your videos! It might not be quite what she was dreaming of. But I would love to see her get a second chance at some kind of career dancing. I also wanted to say and have meant to post for some time now that your show at the Galavan Center in Salt Lake City in August was fabulous. My husband and I attended with our daughter and hung out after the show to meet you guys and she got autographs. I was very impressed with all of you being so nice to her and also being so gracious to her old mom snapping pics of her with you all. Brent especially made a huge impression and made me feel both embarrassed and special as he took the time to wait for me to finish fiddling with my daughter's camera(I was taking pics of her with the band) and very deliberately made sure he met me and shook my hand. The very first time they saw you was in Sarasota, Florida at Robarts Arena you were playing with several bands. A friend of ours won tickets on the radio to go and invited us to join him. I was skeptical on letting my boys go because I didn't know what type of atmosphere there would be but my Husband said he would go and it would be fine. At that time my kids were 6,12,16. The friend that invited them was bringing their kids and from what I heard they were the youngest ones there. Sorry I didn't go didn't think I would like that type of music. When they came home I heard all about Shinedown none of the other bands were mentioned even my husband was impressed exspecially when you did simple man. So I decided to pick up a cd. That was it I was hooked from that moment on. We have attended everyone of your concerts in the Tampa Bay area and cannot wait until you come again. My youngest son and I have had the pleasure of meeting you backstage you really have influeced him alot he has downloaded all of your cd's on his xbox and knows all the words to the songs by heart. My Husband has learned to play some of your songs on his guitar my middle son plays the drums along with him and my youngest son sings the oldest well he just head bangs. I think that's what you call it. I guess what I am trying to say is that your music has brought us all closer together and we appreciate your hard work and hope that you will never stop. Thank you for being who you are and for doing what you do - giving people like me and all the other Shinedown fans hope that maybe someday things will be okay. To all the 'fans' begging for Jasin to return - really, you should be focusing your attention on helping Jasin deal with whatever issues he had that brought about the need for him to leave the band. If you care so much about him, show it by supporting him in getting himself together. Maybe then you'll get what you want.

It was one of the best concerts that I have ever been to. I am on older fan, my daughter dragged me to your concert and I have been hooked ever since. Now to the reason I am posting this. There was this young man named Ethan Davis and he went missing back in October. He was a very troubled boy. He came by my house the day before he went missing to see my daughter, but she wasnt here. My son answered the door and I was in a hurry to get somewhere,so I didnt go to the door to see him. The nexted day we found out that he was missing. I have to live with that for the rest of my life, that I didnt take the time to stop what I was doing to talk to him. I dont know if it would have made a difference or not, but they found him right down the street from my house and he had hung himself. He had beed out there for about 2 months. He was only 17. I just want to say thank you Bret for putting those words on paper, because it has help me get thru these very hard times. I dedicate the song Second Chance to him. I really think that that song would be what he would have wanted to say. I listen to it everyday and I can see him saying those words, that was just the type of person he was. He never met a stranger and would do anything for anybody. The only selfish thing he did was leave, but I know that he is resting in peace now and no more troubles for his troubled mind. He left on Haley's commit........ Always remember to hug your kids whether they are your or not and take time to listen to them! So thank you again and keep on rocking!!!!!
